In both cases, the new D30 technology makes them stronger and more protective than ever.
The new screen protector technology, which was first introduced in January for the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup, is InvisibleShield’s most advanced smartphone screen protection yet. Now available for all iPhone 12 models, both lines promise to keep your pricey investment safe for months to come.
Both of the new InvisibleShield GlassFusion screen protector lines employ the company’s D30 technology. D30 is an additive that, although crystal clear, adds an extra layer of protection to products that already did a superb job keeping the smartphone screen safe. (I know from whence I speak. I drop my phone quite a bit, and InvisibleShield products have kept my screen from cracking more than once.
InvisbleShield describes D30 this way:
D3O is a non-Newtonian fluid. In its raw, flexible form, D3O is fluid, but when it experiences impact, the molecules lock together to form a barrier that disperses the energy across the entire surface area of the screen, protecting it from damage. The formulation used by InvisibleShield is crystal clear, so it looks just like the phone’s original screen. The D3O additive makes these industry-leading screen protectors more than 20% stronger than our original GlassFusion.
The first of the new screen protectors is the InvisibleShield GlassFusion+ with D3O. This $49.99 screen protector is described as a “hybrid screen protector” because it provides edge-to-edge screen protection while maintaining the touch sensitivity that is so important when interacting with a smartphone.
The GlassFusion+ with D3O had anti-microbial properties and, despite its being tough and durable, it is also perfectly clear.
For ten dollars more, you can pick up the $59.99 InvisibleShield GlassFusion VisionGuard+ with D3O. Also described as a “hybrid screen protector,” the GlassFusion VisionGuard+ with D3O was designed to be unbreakable. That’s a hefty claim, but InvisibleShield has never been known to exaggerate their products’ effectiveness.
The GlassFusion VisionGuard+ with D3O also has an “Eyesafe technology layer.” This layer effectively blocks HEV blue light without distorting the color performance of the smartphone screen. Like the GlassFusion+ with D3O, this screen protector also contains anti-microbial properties that inhibit odor-causing bacteria’s growth.
