The Lowdown

My face is a bit round, so I tend to go for a rectangular-shaped pair of sunglasses, so they balance out my face — and the Opolis Optics Largo Sunglasses are an absolutely fantastic pair that look sensational. But Opolis Optics also has a mission behind them that I love. These shades are made completely from plant-based materials like cotton seeds, red pulp, and hemp; biodegradable shades from other brands might cost over $300, but with Opolis Optics, they are only $175.

Finding the perfect pair of glasses for your face isn’t hard, depending on your face shape. I was sent the Opolis Optics Largo Sunglasses for review; let’s check them out.

Available in three different colors: Marine Gray Dark Smoke, Blood Orange Bottle Green, and Urchin Tortoise Bottle Green, I settled on the Blood Orange colorway, which is a big transition from my standard black frames.

With their scratch-resistant lenses, I am comfortable setting the Opolis Optics Largo Sunglasses on a counter when they’re not kept in their sleek carrying case; on a windy day at the beach, if a bit of sand ends up breezing across my face, I won’t have blemishes and fine scratches in the lenses like other glasses I’ve ever used.

If you aren’t too fond of the Opolis Optics Largo Sunglasses more rectangular style, Opolis Tribe has a round frame made of the same material, and it offers the same UVA/UVB Polarized protection that you’d want on the beach or snow. They come in the same colors and have a bonus Iceberg Jade Dark Smoke color that my wife has been eying, so I may be purchasing her a pair very soon.

With summer in full swing, one of the first things on your checklist should be a good pair of sunglasses with a solid warranty and return policy; if something were to happen to your Opolis Optics Largo Sunglasses, like damage or scratches, they are guaranteed for a year.

Even better, for every Opolis Upcycled frame purchased, a contribution will be made to 1% For The Planet.

The Opolis Optics Largo Sunglasses sell for $175; they are available directly from the manufacturer.
