Nomad Leather Cover for MagSafe Charger Review: Wrap Your MagSafe in Luxurious Horween

The Lowdown

When I first learned of the Nomad Leather Cover for MagSafe Charger, I was a bit perplexed. Why would anyone feel the need to wrap their already overpriced charger in leather? Having finally purchased a MagSafe charger, however, I have come to appreciate the added protection and refinement the Nomad Leather Cover for MagSafe Charger adds.

Overall
4.5

Pros

  • Adds some finesse to your MagSafe charger
  • Protects MagSafe charger from scratches and scuffs
  • Horween leather is long-lasting and gets a gorgeous patina over time

Cons

  • Requires you to provide your own MagSafe charger
  • It’s pricy

As I noted in my recent review of Moment’s MagSafe mount accessories, I’ve recently developed an appreciation for Apple’s MagSafe charging system. Those mounts do a great job of holding your iPhone, but they don’t address the need to charge your iPhone while it’s mounted. The Nomad Leather Cover for MagSafe Charger does.
