MediaTek Kompanio 1300T Platform Promises an Even Better Tablet Experience

Whether you’re using them for remote work, school, or at your business, for gaming, or consuming media, tablets have really proven their worth. The MediaTek Kompanio 1300T is a system on a chip (SoC) that will bring a premium experience to tablet users with its advanced 5G multimedia, AI, and gaming technologies.

With the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T SoC, the latest tablets will be able to keep up with the needs of the most demanding users, providing them with the latest advancements in computing, communication, multimedia, AI, gaming, and wireless connectivity.

Devices that sport the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T will have support for a complete set of 5G sub-6GHz bands and dual 5G SIM cards along with support for other 5G modes and enhancements as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

The MediaTek Kompanio 1300T will be great for multimedia, too. It supports multiple-scene HDR10+, AI-PQ (picture quality) technologies; it has chip-level staggered 4K HDR video recording technology, it can support two full HD displays, and it adds a chip-level eye protection engine to filter blue light.

AI-powered voice assistants will be enhanced with ultra-low power voice on wakeup. With several built-in audio frameworks, The MediaTek Kompanio 1300T can create immersive audio-visual experiences with its excellent audio decoding and multi-channel audio output.

Gamers will appreciate that the Kompanio 1300T SoC features MediaTek’s HyperEngine 3.0 along with “gaming optimizations for networks, controls, performance, power efficiency, and image quality.” Hey, if it gives you even a split-second edge when in-game against someone who’s playing on a slower chip, and it helps you win, then that’s awesome!

Other MediaTek Kompanio-series chips have been out for a few years now, and they power several best-selling personal computing devices, including some of the most popular Chromebooks, including many of Lenovo’s, HP’s, and Acer’s.

The new MediaTek Kompanio 1300T SoC will give the tablets that it is placed in more power, better connectivity, more features, and even longer-lasting battery life.

We can look forward to tablets powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T being announced later this year.
