A few weeks ago, I reviewed one of Nomad’s new AirTag accessories, and more than once, it has already helped me locate my keys. Today we’ll take a look at their latest AirTag accessories, the Nomad Leather Keychain for AirTag and the Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag. Both look great, but more importantly, both options offer handy ways to incorporate AirTags into your everyday items to help keep track of your stuff. The fact that AirTags are basically useless without accessories like this is troubling, but thankfully, Nomad has stepped up.
Nomad Leather Keychain for AirTag
The Nomad Leather Loop for AirTag is a great accessory. I’ve been using it since I reviewed it; the Leather Loop is thin and light, and it holds the AirTag in place using a 3M adhesive. The Nomad Leather Keychain for AirTag takes a different approach.
It is also made from Nomad’s Horween leather. Over time, the Nomad Leather Keychain for AirTag will develop a rich, unique patina. It also has a black or brown PVD stainless steel keyring that won’t rust or wear out.
The Nomad Leather Keychain for AirTag is constructed from two pieces of leather that are thermoformed to make an AirTag pocket; the thermoforming make sure the pocket maintains that shape.
The AirTag can be inserted diagonally through the side of the leather keychain and pushed down into the thermoformed pocket that fits around the AirTag.
There are magnets inside the black area right above the leather pocket that will snap the top of the keychain together so that the AirTag will securely remain inside.
The two leather pieces are sewn to create an opening on the end with the metal keyring. To insert the AirTag, you simply push the two sides of the leather together until the opening expands and is large enough to accept it.
Once the AirTag is slipped inside, the thermoformed leather closes around it and keeps it in place. This smart approach lets you remove the AirTag to replace the battery or, if need be, use it with a different accessory.

The Nomad Keychain for AirTag is a simple and yet refined way to carry your AirTag. I’m using it with my second set of keys, but I’ve also added a small carabiner so it can be used as a luggage tag the next time I travel. At $39.95, it is significantly more expensive than the Nomad Leather Loop I reviewed; however, unlike the Leather Loop, when using the Nomad Leather Keyring, the inserted AirTag is fully protected and yet still removable.

Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag
AirTags are also a great way to keep track of your glasses. If like me, you need to wear glasses all the time, there’s really no need for an AirTag. If, however, you have sunglasses you wear sometimes but not all the time, having an AirTag keep track of it can be a huge plus. That’s what the Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag does.
Nomad describes it this way:
Glasses Strap is designed to securely integrate AirTags into your everyday carry by keeping your glasses safe on any adventure. A lightweight TPU capsule securely holds the AirTags and acts as a tensioner to keep glasses tight on your head while exercising. Three included attachment points offer universal fit for all sizes of glasses.
The Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag consists of several different parts.
The first is a braided nylon paracord strap; toward the back is a TPU capsule perfectly sized to hold an AirTag in place.
The nylon strap runs through and around the TPU capsule, and you can move the capsule in either direction along the strap. This lets you increase the tension of the Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag to hold your glasses securely on your face or to loosen and let your glasses hang. That’s no small deal if you are outside and active.

The ends of the nylon strap have TPU rubber attachment points. These work with the various glasses attachments. Included, there are three different-sized glasses attachments, so the Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag should be compatible with most eyewear.
Once the proper glasses attachments are placed on the earpieces of your glasses, the attachments “click” securely into the attachment points on the nylon strap.
The result is that the Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag is a comfortable strap for your glasses that lets you keep track of your pricey eyewear. It is a simple solution, and it works quite well!

As I noted previously, I always wear my glasses, so for me, an accessory like this isn’t essential. But for anyone who wears sunglasses and tends to misplace them, the Nomad Glasses Strap for AirTag is a must.
