We need to start with the L’Oreal HAPTA. This is designed to help someone with limited fine motor skills still apply makeup on their own.
There will be various magnetic attachments and built-in smart controls to make it possible for someone to apply makeup who might not have the steadiest hands when trying for fine details.
The device will offer up to one hour of continuous use, takes three hours to full charge, and will begin by offering a lipstick applicator with more coming in the future.
What’s amazing here isn’t just that L’Oreal has come up with this, it’s that no one has thought of it sooner!
L’Oreal says that it’s estimated that 50 million people live with some degree of fine motor skills.
Makeup and the ability to dress up and feel good about yourself shouldn’t be something out of reach if you aren’t completely able-bodied, especially since there’s a psychological benefit if you enjoy wearing it!

The L’Oreal Brow Magic will be the first handheld electronic brow makeup applicator, with 2,400 tiny nozzles poised to give you the perfect brow shape in seconds.
The Brow Magic also scans the user’s face using L’Oreal’s Modiface AR technology and can make recommendations for whether to use microblading, micro-shading, or filler to accomplish your brow goals.
