Some things are absolutes, like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, or that no, Pepsi is never okay. And, of course, MediaTek is always going to be ready with the next big leap forward to make your smartphone experience even faster, which they are doing with the new Dimensity 7200!

MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Will Bring Even More Speed and Power to Your Next Phone

MediaTek has designed the new Dimensity 7200 to be only 4nm thick, allowing it to fit into all sorts of ultra-slim phone designs. It will feature an octa-core CPU with operating speeds of up to 2.8GHz and an AI Processing Unit to further make AI more efficient and faster.

Why does any of this matter to you as a consumer? Well, if you’re using your phone for gaming on the go, there are GPU and CPU resource optimizations along with an Arm Mali G610 GPU for faster and smoother frame rates. Mobile games are getting faster and more sophisticated, and the processors in our phones have to continue to improve to keep up!

And if you’re more into photography than gaming, Dimensity 7200 matters to you too. You’ll be able to record in 4K video, use two cameras at once with Full HD, and built-in noise reduction for nighttime and low light environments.

Dimensity will also support dual-SIM, tri-band WiFi, up to full HD+ resolution, and of course, 5G. Look for it to power phones starting in the third quarter of 2023!
