The Jabra Speak2 55 Portable Speakerphone is a high-quality portable speakerphone designed to provide clear and uninterrupted audio during conference calls. It is a versatile device that is suitable for use with smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Jabra, a Danish firm that offers many personal sound and office solutions, recently presented the Speak2 range, the newest products in Jabra’s line-up of professional speakerphones, which include the Speak2 75, Speak2 55, and the Speak2 40.

The Jabra Speak2 55 Speakerphone

One of the most notable features of the Jabra Speak2 55 Portable Speakerphone is its compact and lightweight design. This makes it easy to carry around and use on the go. The device feels solid in your hand, and it’s easy to understand the touch-sensitive controls that are located along the outer edge of the speaker.

The unit has a default glow when turned on, and a ring around the speaker illuminates either green to indicate the amount of charge or white to show the volume level.

The audio quality of the Jabra Speak2 55 Portable Speakerphone is exceptional. It features four noise-canceling beamforming microphones, which block background noise and pick up voices from all directions. This ensures that everyone in the room is heard clearly and without any distortion.

Furthermore, the unit features voice level normalization, a technology that equalizes all voices to the same volume level regardless of the speaker’s volume.

We have all experienced the awkward and off-putting cutting in and out of speakerphones that only allow for one-way communications. The Speak2 range is the first to employ full duplex audio allowing everyone to speak and be heard at the same time. The full-range 50mm speaker is also powerful enough to fill a medium-sized conference room with high-quality sound.

The Jabra Speak2 55 Portable Speakerphone is also very easy to set up and use. It connects seamlessly to Bluetooth-enabled devices and is certified to be used with a range of communication apps such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom.

Use the USB cable (compatible with USB A and C) for a direct line or go wireless with up to 12 hours of battery life. You can also keep it updated with the latest firmware via Jabra Direct and Xpress software. The device is IP64-rated for protection from dust & water and also comes with a thick padded grey felt travel case, which adds an extra layer of protection during transit.

The Jabra Speak2 55 Portable Speakerphone sells for $189; it is available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including B&H Photo and Office Depot.

The mic clarity and active noise cancellation are I am happy to see!

  5. It sounds great but a bit too pricey for me. I would like to see some reviews for some other, less expensive speakers that are also really great!
