Vivint has been a leader in home security for years and keeps adding to its smart home options. As smart lighting has become one of the most requested products, Vivint has announced three core products to their service. These products will integrate seamlessly with Vivint’s automation capabilities bringing smarter security and peace of mind.
The Vivint Smart Light Switch adheres to your wall covering the existing light switch and wall plate with no wiring or electrical work required.
It works with a toggle or rocker switch and allows turning switches on or off and dimming the lights with controls at the switch, with voice commands, or the mobile app.
Vivint is also announcing new smart bulbs. The initial launch will offer standard A19 bulbs, BR30 flood bulbs, and recessed LED lights powered by Zigbee. More bulb options will be available in the future.
Finally, the Vivint Smart Lighting Bridge connects smart lighting products with the smart hub. Your expanding smart lighting setup will flawlessly integrate with the smart home and security system.
You’ll be able to get the Vivint Smart Lighting Bundle, starting on August 23rd, for $299.99, plus a flat $5 monthly service fee. It will include a choice of eight compatible bulbs, one lighting bridge, and two switches, with the option to purchase additional lighting products to fit your entire home; a Vivint Smart Hub is also required.
