Lenovo has just unveiled the Lenovo Tab Plus, an 11.5″ entertainment tablet designed to provide a top-notch audio and visual experience. The Tab Plus features eight JBL speakers with a Hi-Fi matrix structure, all tuned by Dolby Atmos, so you’ll get powerful and clear sound quality, making it great for watching movies and listening to music.

The Tab Plus pairs its exceptional audio with a 2K display for vivid and vibrant visuals. The screen’s adjustable stand allows for comfortable viewing from various angles.

Tony Chen, Lenovo’s vice president of Tablets, Intelligent Devices Group, highlighted that as the tablet market rebounds, Lenovo is focused on offering differentiated products that meet customer needs. The Tab Plus exemplifies a balance of performance and mobility.

The Lenovo Tab Plus offers 26W of crisp stereo sound from eight JBL Hi-Fi speakers, including four tweeters and four woofers. These components are housed in four speaker boxes totaling 22cc for deep bass and clear treble. The tablet supports high-resolution audio with 24-bit and 96kHz frequencies with headphones, making it an excellent listening experience.

The Lenovo Tab Plus can also function as a Bluetooth speaker, streaming audio from devices like smartphones. An integrated kickstand offers up to 175 degrees of viewing flexibility. You can fine-tune your audio experience with a personalized app volume control, which adjusts sound levels based on the app in use.

Because great audio in a tablet is nothing without an excellent viewing experience, the Lenovo Tab Plus boasts an 11.5″ 2K TUV-certified display with a 90Hz refresh rate for vibrant and eye-friendly visuals. The TUV certification indicates low blue light and flicker-free performance for eye comfort. The Tab Plus also includes an Immersive Reading Mode that mimics the look of a book’s pages.

Powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the Lenovo Tab Plus offers up to 256GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via a MicroSD card. The tablet’s 8600 mAh battery supports up to 12 hours of streaming and can be fully charged in 90 minutes with 45W fast charging.

On top of that, it is IP52 water and dust-resistant, so you can comfortably use it indoors or outside.

In Standby Mode, which activates automatically when the device is not in use and is charging in landscape mode with the kickstand, the tablet can also serve as a digital photo frame or clock.

There’s also an 8-megapixel fixed focus camera for video calls and an 8-megapixel autofocus camera for when it’s the most handy way to catch a shot.

For user security, the Lenovo Tab Plus features a privacy dashboard to manage permissions; it runs Android 14, and Lenovo is promising two years of OS upgrades and four years of security patches.

Optional services include Lenovo Premium Care for technical support and Lenovo Accidental Damage Protection for protection against drops and spills.

The tablet is compatible with accessories like the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, the Lenovo 68W USB-C Wall Charger, the Lenovo Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard, and a protective sleeve made from DuPont Tyvek material and PU leather.
