Eureka J15 Max Ultra Offers Incredible Suction and Smart Liquid Detection That Stuns

Robot vacuums are among the coolest technological advancements. They’re smart little discs that free you from vacuuming so you can better yourself through education, artistry, and TikTok. Still, they’re constantly improving and learning, and the good folks at Eureka have brought the robot vacuum to new heights with the Eureka J15 Max Ultra.

One of the big highlights of the Eureka J15 Max Ultra is that it can sense and address transparent liquids. This might sound like a weird thing to brag about, but other robot vacuums have been unable to detect clear liquids. This can cause them to smear it instead of mopping, or worse, pulling the water into the dustbin.

The Eureka J15 Max Ultra uses Intelliview AI 2.0 with infrared vision and an FHD vision sensor. This allows the robot to analyze reflections and textures to identify liquids. Then, it can switch from brushing to mopping and cleaning up melted ice cubes, spilled vodka, or any other clear liquids it needs to address.

There are a slew of other improvements beyond just knowing your Eureka J15 Max Ultra won’t befriend your pool. It has ScrubExtend and SweepExtend to cover tight corners (your mother will never judge your baseboards again!). There’s also a DragonClaw Side Brush, which sounds exciting and can help mitigate hair tangles.

Finally, the Eureka J15 Max Ultra will sport 22,000 Pa of suction power, and if you’re wondering if that’s good, it’s a 35% increase over its predecessors. It can also navigate thresholds up to 1.57 in, which is helpful if you’ve got raised spots dividing your rooms.

Like the prior J15 Pro Ultra, the Max Ultra has a self-cleaning base and can avoid pet waste. You can also freak your dog out by stalking him through the remote video interaction feature.

Eureka is also introducing the J15 Ultra, an entry-level option in the J15 Series. This model boasts 19,000 Pa of suction power, FlexiRazor Technology, ScrubExtend functionality, and an All-in-One Base Station. It is scheduled to launch in March 2025 and will cost $799.
