We enjoy using the Cricut Maker 4 to create personalized designs, and now the Cricut Mug Press takes that creativity even further. This easy-to-use press transforms our Infusible Ink designs into vibrant, peel-proof mugs that look professionally made. We can simply cut or draw our art with a Cricut cutting machine, wrap it around a compatible mug, and let the Mug Press handle the heat transfer. With no manual temperature or pressure settings to fuss over, making personalized gifts or products to sell has never been this effortless, or this impressive.
Learning about the Cricut world has introduced me to many new endeavors. The Cricut Mug Press is a lot of fun to use and delivers impressive results. Using Cricut infusible ink-compatible mugs and infusible ink materials, the press does not require any additional settings. You just add your mug, press the latch down, and let it work for you.

The Cricut Mug Press is compatible with 11- to 16-ounce infusible ink-compatible mugs that have straight walls and a diameter of 82 to 86mm. Both sizes are available from Cricut and work right out of the box. Designs can be created using infusible ink transfer sheets or by using infusible ink pens and markers with laser copy paper.

The Cricut Mug Press is packaged with a USB cord for activation, which must be completed on a PC or Mac computer with an internet connection before first use.

We designed two mugs: one for our Editor-in-Chief, Judie, featuring the Gear Diary logo, and another for her husband, Kevin, using his maker’s mark that is usually stamped onto his metal art. The Infusible Ink sheets come pre-sized for Cricut mug blanks.

Once the design is created in the Cricut Design Space app, it is cut with the Cricut cutting machine and then attached to the mug using heat-resistant tape. It is essential to mirror your design before cutting.

When you are ready to press, turn on the Mug Press and let it heat up until the light turns green. Align your mug, press the lever down, and wait for the progress lights to indicate that the process is complete. In about five to six minutes, your mug is ready to remove and left to cool. Wearing heat-resistant gloves is recommended to handle the hot mug safely.

The Cricut Mug Press is easy to use and creates professional-quality items with each use. The mugs are peel-proof and dishwasher safe. There is no need for extra settings; just push the lever down and let it do the work.
Whether you want to craft unique gifts for friends and family or add custom mugs to your small business lineup, the Cricut Mug Press delivers impressive, durable results every time. Its simple, no-fuss operation and consistent performance make it a worthwhile addition to any Cricut setup.
The Cricut Mug Press retails for $199.95; it is available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including Amazon.
