JLab Audio, the American consumer audio brand, has partnered with American YouTuber MrBeast on a wired gaming headset, headset stand, and line of chocolate treats called Feastables. JLab Audio started out producing budget-friendly in-ear headphones but has grown to offer a wide range of premium audio products, including high-end in-ear and over-ear headphones, wireless models, and Bluetooth speakers.
For those of you unfamiliar with MrBeast, I’ll let his Wikipedia description clue us all in:
James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson commonly known by his online alias MrBeast, is an American YouTuber, media personality, and businessman. His YouTube videos, where he often hosts elaborate challenges and philanthropic efforts, are known for their fast pace and high production values. With over 419 million subscribers, he has the most subscribed channel on YouTube. As of 2 August 2025 he was also the third-most-followed creator on TikTok, with over 119 million followers.

JLab x MrBeast Wired Gaming Headset
JLab started out making affordable headsets, and although they now produce a full line of products, they seemingly have not forgotten how to make a decent pair of cheap headphones. Based on JLab’s Nightfall cans, the MrBeast JLab headphones include JLab’s 50mm Neodymium Magnet drivers, spatial audio support, and a Flip-Up to Mute microphone, all for $30. This headset is also compatible with PCs, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and the PS5.
Design And Build Quality
As these are wired, there is no battery, making the headset very light and comfortable for long sessions. The headset is made entirely of plastic, and although solid enough in hand, it will not be confused with headsets selling for $100 or more.
The aesthetic is a direct application of the popular YouTuber’s branding on JLab’s Nightfall wired gaming headset. The color scheme, patterns, and graphics are attuned to the target audience of younger gamers who wish to show support for the social media star. If you wish to display a more subdued look, you can flip the headban,d which is solid black on the reverse side.
Setup
Plug the JLab x MrBeast Wired Gaming Headset into your controller, handheld, or computer, and adjust the volume; you are set to go. The packaging instructs users who find the volume too low on consoles to visit and adjust their settings screen, which I did, having found the level too low on my Xbox.
Performance
After adjusting the level, I found the sound to be quite decent. Yes, these are $30 headphones, and there are limits to the types of materials and technologies that can be included at that price, namely Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz wireless. On the other hand, these are $30 headphones, and they sound surprisingly good. The headset has immediate presence and a decent and good dynamic range suitable for most applications.
The headset also includes a TeamSpeak Certified near-field directional condenser microphone for chatting. The mic is muted by flipping it up and out of the way. One limitation is the mic’s inability to swivel side to side. This may limit placement, but I found the default location to work well.
Beast Tower Headset Stand
If you are going to go MrBeast, you might as well go all the way. The companion headset stand, which sells for $24.92 and is available exclusively from Walmart, is made of similar-feeling plastic and features two lighting effects.
The base has a two-tiered backlit design with the MrBeast Feastables logo. The main attraction, however, is the mirrored front face, which, when plugged in, reveals an infinity mirror. It’s just like a trip to the mall to Spencer Gifts (look it up, kids, Spencer Gifts – Wikipedia).
Feastables
I must admit that I was a bit hesitant to try the various Feastables. In my assortment were the Birthday Cake Batter Chocolates and the Peanut Butter Cups. I was pleasantly surprised. The Birthday Cake Batter is really just white chocolate with colored sprinkles and is quite delicious. I’d love to tell you how the Peanut Butter Cups were, but one of my son’s ate them all, apparently without complaint.
Feastables are available online individually or in bundles, and from various retailers, including Walmart, Target, and Amazon; you can use their store finder to find a retailer near you.
All too often, when companies team up with known brands, the result is subpar and obviously done just for profit. I am happy to say that that is not the case here. The JLab x MrBeast Wired Gaming Headset is solid and a good product for the money. If you have a gamer, especially one on the younger side, who is looking for a wired headset with good sound and a good microphone, this may be for you. If you are a MrBeast fan, well then, look no further.
