GekoGear sells a line of automotive products, including car cameras, truck and motorcycle cameras, bodycams, infotainment displays, and various “car gadgets,” such as wireless dongles and air purifiers. In this review, we look at their AirFlux 300 Portable Air Pump & Jump Starter. The AirFlux 300 is a combination jump starter and air pump in one compact unit. It inflates tires on cars, trucks, motorcycles, e-bikes, and bicycles, not to mention sports equipment. It also features a flashlight with multiple modes, and its battery can charge your mobile devices via USB Type-A and Type-C ports.

Design and Build Quality
The AirFlux 300 is an attractive rectangular-shaped box with chamfered corners. Constructed of black and silver plastic, the 300 features a large black face on its top with a cluster of buttons centered below its main digital display. The unit is 5.25” wide by 7.2” high by 1.9” thick and weighs 1.6 pounds.

On its bottom face, the unit has an air intake, and on its top face are the port for the air hose adjacent to the flashlight, next to a USB Type-A output port, above a USB Type-C input/output port. Lastly, next to these ports is the port for the jump starter cable. This port is typically covered by a rubber flap.
The unit feels solid and seems well-built. That said, the large battery and compressor elements result in this box weighing more than 1 pound and a half, and dropping it from heights seems inadvisable.
The buttons respond well and are made of a single flat rubber piece that makes it less likely to get dirty or greasy, something that may well happen when working on tires and in engine compartments. The AirFlux 300 also features small rubber feet on the bottom that prevent the unit from sliding and getting scratched.
Performance

Using the AirFlux 300 as an Air Pump could not be easier and more effective. Depending on what you are inflating, you simply select the preset mode (bike, motorbike, car, or ball) or manually set whatever pressure you need. The controls and display on the AirFlux 300 make selecting and executing the various functionalities straightforward.
The best feature of the 300 is its auto-shutoff. Say you are adding air to a car tire and see on the sidewall that it requires 30psi. You attach the hose to the 300 and the valve stem of your tire and set the pressure to 30psi. If pounds per square inch is not your desired unit of measurement, no worries, the AirFlux 300 can be set to one of four units: PSI, KPA, BAR, and Kg/cm².
Press start, and the 300 takes care of the rest. You hear the compressor start up and continue adding air until the set pressure is reached, then it shuts off. If your pressure was significantly low, this process may take a minute or more, but you don’t have to sit by and wait.

The jump-starting process is equally simple. Just connect the 300 to the battery with the included jump start cables, being mindful to match the positive and negative terminals and cables. Then go and turn your ignition key. The only thing that is a bit strange about the jump-starting function is that the display does not change from the air compressor readout.
The 12000mAh rechargeable battery can jump-start your car 11 times and jump-start gasoline engines up to 6.0 liters and diesel engines up to 3.0 liters.
The AirFlux 300 is indeed an air pump and jump starter, but it has other uses as well, making it a multi-purpose tool for roadside emergencies and everyday use. The top face features a flashlight and USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports for mobile devices.

When shopping for devices like this, it is important to compare the specifications, most importantly the battery capacity and, less so, the maximum compressor pressure. There is quite a lot of competition in this market, and especially at this time of year, it is common to see prices drop.
The myGEKOgear AirFlux 300 sells for $129.99; it is available directly from the manufacturer or from other retailers, including Lowe’s and Best Buy.
