Having a pool is a great way to stay cool while enjoying the summer, but pools, like pets, require a lot of responsibility, cleaning, and maintenance. You can outsource the work to your kids, or hire a “poolboy,” or you can get everything sparkling and shiny with the smart, powerful, and hands-off Beatbot AquaSense X.

Beatbot AquaSense X has a couple of standout updates over previous pool robots. It’s rocking the newest HybridSense AI system and can recognize 40 types of debris, up from the prior version’s 20. The system also uses infrared and ultrasonic imaging to identify the location and types of debris, and it has dual ultrasonic sensors on the bottom better to navigate slopes, steps, and other underwater topography.
Best of all, it supports Google Home, Alexa, and Siri so that you can start and monitor a pool cleaning session just by voice, like the Star Trek computers, but for home maintenance.

The other neat upgrade is the AstroRinse base station. Once the AquaSense X has finished patrolling your pool for loose leaves, bits of mud, and any other invaders to your crystal clear paradise, you can pop the bot right on the base station, and then you’re done. The base station will take care of the rest, rinsing the filter, emptying the tank of debris, and, of course, recharging for the next round.

The whole cleanup takes about 3 minutes, and with a 23-liter capacity, it can handle two cleanings a week for up to 2 months before you need to empty it. Plus, everything ends up in a disposable dust bag, making cleanup easy!
Being able to go months without working harder than ordering your pool robot around doesn’t come cheap. AquaSense X ecosystem (base station and robot) will have a retail price of $4,250. On the other hand, a well-maintained pool means long-term savings, so it’s not a crazy investment! Look for it to be available for pre-orders starting in January 2026.
