Cons
Like it or not, summer is here, and that means it is time to cook outside. Many of our meals are cooked on a smoker or grill this time of year, so having the right tools is important. I was just able to try out the Electactic G31 Pro 3-Burner Propane Gas Grill, and it has proven its worthiness for my outdoor kitchen. The 3-burner gas grill is perfect for those quick cooks after work.
The Electactic G31 Pro 3-Burner Propane Gas Grill puts out a total of 34,000 BTUs. That includes three main burners, each rated at 8,000 BTUs, along with a dedicated 10,000 BTU side burner. Altogether, the grill offers 451.45 square inches of cooking space, with 326.65 square inches on the main grilling area and another 124.80 square inches on the warming rack.
The grill is built with an AISI 304 stainless steel lid, a 201 stainless steel body, and heavy-duty porcelain-coated cast-iron cooking grates. It measures 48.27 inches deep, 20.47 inches wide, and 42.99 inches tall, making it a nice size for a patio or outdoor cooking area without taking over the whole space. The grill also uses a battery-powered pulse electronic ignition, which makes startup quick and easy.

With a total of 34,000 BTUs under the hood, this grill doesn’t mess around when it comes to preheating. The three independent main burners give you excellent zone control, allowing you to set one side to high heat for searing steaks while keeping the other side lower for indirect cooking. For our first cook, we did some NY Strips, and wow, did they come out perfect!

The “Pro” in the name really shines with the inclusion of the 10,000 BTU side burner. Instead of running back and forth to the kitchen, you can simmer your signature barbecue sauce, sauté onions, or prep side dishes right at the station. When you aren’t using it, the lid flips down to give you extra prep space. As you can see in the photos, some beans are on the side burner.

For a budget-friendly grill, the material choices are impressive. The upper lid is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, which offers top-tier rust and corrosion resistance against the elements. The main grates are heavy-duty cast iron, which retains heat beautifully and delivers those gorgeous, professional-looking sear marks on your food.

The design team clearly thought about the user experience. The cart features an enclosed bottom storage area to keep your propane tank hidden and out of sight. It also sports handy side hooks to keep your spatulas and brushes organized, a built-in thermometer right on the lid so you can monitor internal temperatures without losing heat, and—perhaps the best feature for the chef—a built-in bottle opener.

The Electactic G31 Pro packs premium materials, flexible zone cooking, and smart convenience features into a highly mobile package that performs well above its price point. If you want a reliable, rust-resistant backyard powerhouse that makes multi-tasking seamless, this one is absolutely worth parking on your patio. It’s perfect for the quick cooks after a long day of work.
