3 New Wallets That Make My Current Wallet Jealous!

LinkedInFacebookXBlueskyThreadsMastodonTumblrRedditPinterestEmailPrintFriendly

If your current wallet is starting to feel a little boring, these three wallets might give it a serious case of envy. Two are Kickstarter projects, and one is from an established brand. One mixes a reusable notebook with EDC essentials, one is all about slim-and-clean card carrying, and one is designed to help you grab the right card super fast. They’re all quirky, clever, and just different enough to make you seriously think it’s time to upgrade. Let’s check them out.

Mystery Wallets

KCOPE 2 Wallet

What Is It?

The KCOPE 2 wallet, which is available in either aluminum or titanium, is one of those Kickstarter wallets that tries to solve a very specific problem: fumbling through a stack of cards when you need the right one fast. Instead of a traditional bifold layout, it uses a slide-open design that reveals your cards in separate slots like an accordion. This makes the right card easier to spot and grab what you want without shuffling through a stack like you’re getting ready to deal a hand of poker. That alone gives this wallet a nice bit of EDC appeal, especially for people who like clever mechanisms and a more high-tech feel from their wallet.

Why Do I Like It?

I like this one for a couple of different reasons. The first reason is that it provides RFID protection, so you don’t need to worry about the bad guys grabbing your card info. The second reason that I like the KCOPE 2 is that it has a fidget factor when it comes to opening it. I love the clicking! You have to check out the video below to see what I mean.

One other note… KCOPE as a company isn’t new. I actually backed their pocket kaleidoscope campaign a couple of years ago. They make really great stuff!

Where Can I Find More Info?

The KCOPE 2 wallet campaign ends on 06/26/26, and they have easily surpassed their $5,000 funding goal in just 70 minutes. You can pre-order the aluminum version of the KCOPE 2 wallet starting at $79, and a titanium version for $149.00. After the KCOPE 2 wallet campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in September 2026. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

Renote Snap Wallet

Renote Snap wallet

What Is It?

The Renote Snap is a MagSafe-compatible wallet that holds your most-used cards on the outside and opens to reveal 2 aluminum “pages” for writing your notes on the inside. It works with a dry-erase pen so that you can clean the pages and capture new notes.

Why Do I Like It?

I like that it’s a notebook that never needs to be refilled. I know I’d use this at the grocery store while I’m shopping, which seems easier and more convenient than constantly unlocking my phone to mark items off the list. I also like that it can hold 3 cards. Since I barely ever use cash these days, 3 cards would be perfect for me. What about you?

It has a built-in ruler on one edge and can also be used as a stand for your phone.

The Renote Snap wallet campaign ends on 07/10/26, and they have already surpassed their $1,515 funding goal. You can pre-order the Renote Snap wallet starting at $66. After the Renote Snap wallet campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in December 2026. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

Paperwallet Micro and Slim Wallets

Paperwallets

What Is It?

Paperwallets are wallets that are as thin as paper but are made of a material called Tyvek. I’m sure you’ve heard of Tyvek, but if not, it is a lightweight, and breathable synthetic material developed by DuPont. It is made of high-density polyethylene fibers that make it feel and look like paper but perform like fabric. You can sew it! It is highly resistant to water and tearing.

Why Do I Like It?

I like the Paperwallet wallets because they are so unique. They are available in different sizes, like micro and slim (there are others too), and the best part is that there are all types of interesting designs to choose from. So these are wallets for people who don’t just want a boring black holder for their cash and cards.

Where Can I Find More Info?

Since the Paperwallets are no longer on Kickstarter, you don’t have to wait for your rewards to ship. You can go straight to Kickstarter and pick one (or three). You can also save a few bucks using the discount code: SHOP10-GEARDIARY.

So, did one of these three wallets make you consider upgrading from your current one? If so, which one? And if not, what wallet are you currently using? Please share in the comments below because I’m always on the lookout for a new holder for my cards.
