LumeGret aims to be the one place to manage everything related to solar energy-what needs power now, what should be saved for later, and even an easy way to manage it with an app on your phone. The biggest difference is capacity: the A4000 is beefy enough to run the whole household, while the A2000 might only run the essentials in a battery-backup scenario.
Obviously, investing in anything with batteries leads to questions about longevity, and MOVA is delivering with a 10-year warranty and an industrial-grade battery management system. They say the systems should handle up to 10,000 charge cycles and 20 years, though that will depend on your specific use cases.
And if you’re all-in on clean energy and made the switch to an electric vehicle, the LumeGret system can also support your charging needs there. It’s not going to give you speed charging, but you can get 40-55km of driving range after 4 hours of solar charging. Enough to keep you topped off and running errands around town if nothing else!
Finally, if you’re already in MOVA’s ecosystem with their electric lawnmowers, the LumeGret system will work with them too. It’ll coordinate when to charge the mower and clean up your lawn based on the solar conditions. The only thing it can’t do is pull the weeds, so you’ll still have to deign to do SOME manual labor!
