Segway Ninebot Poised to Debut New eScooter and eMoped at CES 2020

Having already established itself as a leader in “last mile” innovation, Segway Ninebot plans to expand its foothold on the market with two brand new electric micro-mobility vehicles in 2020.  The Ninebot eMoped and Ninebot eScooter will help travelers get from point A to point B much more efficiently and cost-effectively thanks to intelligent safety features.

The Ninebot eScooter is intended for mid-to-long range rides and comes in five models with ascending range and speed options.  The premium eScooter model, the E200P, is able to hit 62.1 mph with up to a 124-mile range, which is huge for a small electric vehicle.  Acceleration is impressive as well, getting up to 24 mph in just 4 seconds.  I mentioned safety features earlier, and Ninebot is committed to their passengers’ safety which is evident in the safety features built into their vehicles.  The eScooter comes with ABS brakes in the front and rear and also features an electric handlebar lock, Ninebot’s keyless AirLock system, anti-skid tubeless tires, triple GPS anti-theft system via their app, and more.

The Ninebot eScooter features a classic yet updated scooter design and is pretty attractive to my taste.  This is definitely something I could see myself tooling around town with!

The Ninebot eMoped is an electric bike, with pedals and all, that can also be used as a normal moped.  The eMoped will come in three models that have ranges including 24.8 miles, 37.2 miles, and 46.6 miles for the C40, C60, and C80 respectively.  The innovative Ninebot keyless AirLock system that I mentioned previously is also built into the eMoped line.  The AirLock system allows you to hop on the eMoped and unlock via NFC on your mobile phone and you can take right off!

All eMopeds have a top speed of 15.5 mph and they weigh between 116.86 and 121.25 pounds.  They come in some fun colors too!  Check out the full list of Ninebot eMoped features:
