The OnePlus Nord series is known for mid-range smartphones that deliver better-than-expected cameras, impressive performance for their class, vibrant displays with fast refresh rates, ample RAM, and features that are generally found on more expensive models; the new OnePlus Nord N30 5G is no exception. The unlocked N30 features a refined slab style, a 108-megapixel main camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, 8GB RAM (adjustable to 16GB), 128GB user memory, a 5,000mAh battery, and more for just $299.99. Read on to see if this might be a good choice for you.
I’ve felt a sense of frustration because there really weren’t any real options if I wanted to own a stylish, thin, non-iOS tablet with a larger display, but now we have the OnePlus Pad to consider. The Pad is OnePlus’s first tablet, and they’ve loaded it to the gills with goodies, including a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, face unlock, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, all-day battery life, and an 11.61″ display with 144Hz refresh rate. Best of all, it is just $479. Is the OnePlus Pad the tablet that Android users have been hoping for?
We are pushing more and more power into our phones. The problem is more power equals more heat. OnePlus is thinking INSIDE the box for a solution here, or at least inside the desktop tower, by designing the OnePlus 11 Concept phone, which is cooled using the same principles that keep gaming PCs frosty.
A lot has changed at OnePlus over the past couple of years. The company has merged with OPPO, and OnePlus’ OxygenOS now shares a common codebase with OPPO’s ColorOS. Warp Charge is now called SuperVOOC, which is OPPO’s fast charging brand. And while OnePlus’ affordable Nord N series has been doing well here in the US, the company’s flagships appear to have lost their mojo.
Returning to its roots, OnePlus has taken a bold step with its latest smartphone releaser; rather than being one of several flagship models offered, the OnePlus 11 5G stands alone. Maybe you won’t feel like you’re settling without a Pro model, though, because the 11 5G comes loaded with many top-of-the-line features, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, a 5,000mAh battery, and 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging in the US. However, there is one feature you won’t find on this new device; will its omission be a deal breaker for you?
In August, I posted a first look at the OnePlus 10T that covered the OnePlus 10T 5 G’s design, features, and hardware. In this follow-up, I’ll cover the smartphone’s cameras, battery life performance, carrier compatibility, and other things I’ve noticed while using it for the past couple of months. If you haven’t already, read the first part of this review, and then come back to read the rest of the story.
This morning, OnePlus announced its latest flagship, the OnePlus 10T 5G. With up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, the brand’s first-ever ultra-thin vapor cooling system, a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform, a 4,800mAh battery, and up to 125W fast-charging in the US, the 10T sounds like an impressive device on paper. Like every other US reviewer, I’ve had mine in hand for almost a full week. Figuring there will be at least one more update before it starts shipping in September, it seems irresponsible to do a full review now, so please enjoy this first look.
With its unique, oversized Hasselblad-branded camera array, large capacity battery, super-fast recharging capabilities, top-of-the-line processor, and brilliant 6.7″ display, the OnePlus 10 Pro might be the perfect marriage of utility and style. Read on to see if this latest OnePlus is the upgrade you’ve been waiting for.
OnePlus has swiftly built a reputation for its high-quality, usually quite affordable Android smartphones. They consistently pack high-performance and incredible cameras into each generation. The newest addition, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, will bring power, battery life, and an extraordinary Hasselblad camera array that will raise the bar to a whole new level!
If you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive 5G-capable smartphone, you might want to check out the OnePlus Nord N200 5G that’s just been announced. Priced at $239.99 in the US, it’s a great value.
After using and reviewing the OnePlus 8T and deeming it “nearly perfect,” I had high expectations for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. After using them both for the past two months, I have a lot to say.
Have you been eagerly awaiting more information on the latest OnePlus 9 Series phones and hoping for a glimpse of the first-ever OnePlus Watch, too? Well then, today is your day! Read on for more info on these exciting new phones and the watch!
OnePlus has just announced a three-year partnership with the esteemed camera manufacturer, Hasselblad, to “co-develop the next generation of smartphone camera systems for future OnePlus flagship devices.” Most excitingly, we can expect to see the first OnePlus x Hasselblad camera system, called ‘Hasselblad Camera for Mobile,’ in the upcoming OnePlus 9 Series!
OnePlus released the Nord in Europe some time ago with the promise that it would eventually arrive on our US shores. They later released the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 in Europe with promises to eventually bring them to the US. I’ve been testing the European OnePlus Nord N10 5G, and I am quite impressed. It is an excellent phone in its own right, and it represents OnePlus returning to its roots and the approach that first put it on our radar.
I’ve been testing the OnePlus 8T for well over a month, and although it showed up at a time when I had four other different phones on my desk to review, it soon won me over and became my daily driver. Yes, there are a few caveats, but for someone like me who wants a brilliant, large display with a high refresh rate, fantastic battery life, an even better than expected camera, and almost all of the bells and whistles, it is a great choice.
OnePlus and T-Mobile know a few things. they know how to make excellent smartphones, they know how to blanket the country in 5G, and they know everyone is crawling the walls because there’s nowhere to go in the middle of a pandemic. They can’t totally fix that third issue, but they’re trying with their new OnePlus Go Farther scavenger hunt!
OnePlus continues to live up to its mantra of “Never Settle,” which has never been more evident than its latest flagship, the OnePlus 8T. Boasting a 120Hz screen refresh rate, Warp Charge 65, quad-cameras, Android 11, and the top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G Mobile Platform, this mobile powerhouse is a stunner.
If you’ve been paying attention to the build-up surrounding the OnePlus Nord, you know that it is the brand’s latest accessibly-priced smartphone. The Nord is not going to be for sale in the US, but if you can get your hands on one, it doesn’t sound like you’ll be disappointed. The OnePlus Nord was formally introduced to the world this morning during an AR launch event.
I’ve been testing the OnePlus 8 series for a bit over a month, and I have good news: the phones are very well made, and the cameras are better than expected. Long story short, starting at $699 for the OnePlus 8 and starting at $899 for the OnePlus 8 Pro, both of these phones have a lot going for them. Let’s dig in.
I’ve been a fan of Pitaka’s insanely thin yet protective Aramid cases since I first received one to try on my iPhone 7 Plus. I used them on every iPhone I owned until I switched to the Pixel 3 XL, when I was disappointed to learn that Pitaka wouldn’t have a case for my phone. When I moved to the 4 XL, there still wasn’t a case available, but that’s no longer true.
