At this point the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a bit “old”. Launched in April 2013, by Android standards it is an antique. And while we’ve seen many new Galaxy devices in the last 14 months, there’s been no new Note 8.0. The arrival of Android 4.4.2 KitKat on my WiFi version today made it a model worthy of 2014.

Phil Collins hasn’t been performing in public for the past three years. According to news reports Collins has been in a land of retirement since suffering some spinal issues in 2011. Collins shows up in this nearly 18 minute YouTube video giving a performance of “In The Air” and “Land of Confusion”. The video appears to have been filmed at a Miami Dade County middle school, where two of his children attend.

We try not to let our 11 month old son play with our phones, but he loves all things iOS. Not because he loves Apple … just Siri. Our son has learned that holding down the home button brings up Siri, and he loves when she talks after he babbles at her. At last, we’ve found a purpose for Siri!
While I like the lightning connector on new Apple products, the cables seem to always fail on me.
