Having reviewed Ultimate Ears UE CSX that were custom fit to my ears thanks to their innovative UE Fitkit, I was excited. UE FITS use slightly different technology, but they do indeed let you create custom earphones in just a few minutes.
When I reviewed Ultimate Ears UE CSX and UE’s Fitkit that let you mold custom earphones at home, I mentioned that these would be ideal true wireless earphones. Now Ultimate Ears is making that happen with the custom-fit, true wireless UE FITS. I’ve been waiting for custom true wireless earphones, and I can’t wait to check them out.
Ten years ago, I had the opportunity to review a pair of custom in-ear monitors. Creating them was a long process that required numerous steps. They still work and sound great. I’m a huge fan of Ultimate Ears speakers. The MEGABLAST Alexa-powered speaker I recently reviewed hangs over my treadmill. The WONDERBOOM is a far simpler, and much less expensive speaker that, for under $100, will have you ready for the great outdoors this summer. It is small, powerful, gets great battery life and is, of course waterproof.
