Overview

The Pantech Duo is a Windows Mobile® 6 double slider phone. It features a 12-key numeric keypad and a QWERTY keyboard inside one impressively compact design. Stay in touch with email, Instant Messaging, plus Picture and Video messaging. Edit Microsoft Word®, or Excel® files and view PowerPoint® files with Microsoft® Office Mobile. Enjoy Music and Cellular Video capabilities at 3G broadband speeds. Utilize simultaneous voice and data–browse the web and talk at the same time. With the Duo’s dual slider keypads and cool convertible design, it’s nothing like you have ever seen!

Included Features

The Duo itself is a rather unusual design, something not really seen in a smartphone just yet, but still rather impressive to say the least. Also the screen is alot smaller then you might think it is.

The Duo in and of itself is rather powerful for what it is meant to do, it was rather nice to see a 3G added to this little one. Granted a 1.3 Megapixel camera was a shad on the disappointing side.

The simple design of the device still has some great features and I found that both the keyboard and slider action was easy to use and didnt feel like it would wear out after a couple of slides here and there.

The weird thing though about this device is that it felt cheaply made in your hands, maybe I have used way too many different HTC devices over the years. It is rather light and that may have something to do with it. Impressive none the less. For those of you out there just looking for a standard smartphone with the dual slider action, here ya go. For those of you gadget geeks out there, who like power and everything else in your device. Well not really worth it. Just my thoughts.
