In 2013 we reviewed the Soundfreaq Sound Step Lightning and the Soundfreaq Sound Spot. Both impressed with their sound, value, and design. Now Soundfreaq has announced two new products — the Sound Rise and the Double Spot. The Sound Rise is the company’s take on the alarm clock; the Double Spot is two Sound Spots in one.

The Sound Rise offers clean lines, a bright display, It is “The Alarm Clock Reinvented”. As Soundfreaq explains,

What makes Sound Rise shine? We designed it from the ground up to enhance the modern lifestyle: enjoy great audio while you stream movies from your tablet in bed or your new favorite song from your smart phone while you get ready to go out. Sound Rise features Bluetooth wireless, universal USB charging, an innovative backlit touch button interface and Soundfreaq audio quality, all within a footprint that leaves plenty of room on your night stand.

With it you can enjoy Bluetooth wireless streaming, enjoy a simple and intuitive interface with easy-to-see backlit touch buttons and adjustable screen brightness and keep all of your mobile devices charged thanks to the inclusion of both a dock for iPod, iPhone and iPad and a USB power port. You can learn more about the Sound Rise here.

The Double Spot doubles down on the Sound Spot and offers two custom designed 5W speakers. With Bluetooth 4.0 wireless streaming you can enjoy your music without plugging in. There is, of course, also a 3.5mm input and the inclusion of a USB power port means you can also keep your phone charged while you enjoy your music. A rechargeable battery offers 6hrs of play time for music on the go.

We’re hoping to go hands-on with both right after CES 2014!
