The Stashback, which is available in nine (NINE!!!) different color combinations is just $39.99. That means that, for under $40, you get a case that adds cool colors to your iPhone 5S AND offers great protection to your iPhone 5S AND still lets you use a dock with your iPhone 5S. Best of all, it does all that and can double as a wallet without actually looking like a case that doubles as a wallet. Yes, the Incipio Stashback looks like a standard iPhone case (read: it isn’t a bulky hunko’ plastic case), but it has room for a driver’s license and two credit cards. As the company explains:

As you can see I’m actually rather impressed with the case. Where many wallet-style cases are big and bulky, this case looks like a standard shell case. Only when you turn it over and look closely do you see that most of the back is a bit thicker than one might otherwise expect. Of course this thickness is designed to let you slip three cards behind the phone and hold them securely in place. And once the lower quarter of the case is snapped back in place the cards are not only secured in place but also hidden from view. Only someone looking for them will know they are actually there.

That, however, is only the beginning since the Incipio Stashback Dockable Credit Card Case for iPhone 5s is also a highly protective case that lets you dock your iPhone without the case getting in the way. The case has an impact resistant core and the same shock absorbing system we saw in the Incipio Phenom. (Read the review.) That means this case, while not intended for people who enjoy throwing their phone across the room, does offer serious protection for your smartphone investment. Add in the fact that the lower portion can be raise and moved away from the phone and the rest of the case and you have a case that is not only highly protective but also plays well with most any charging or speaker dock you might have.

Of course the reason you would opt for this case over something like the Phenom is its ability to double as your minimalist wallet. Here too the Incipio Stashback stands out for its excellence. Sure, the case holds three cards securely behind the phone itself. That, however, is not why I see this case as a standout. No, the standout feature of this case is to be found in the extras. The fact that Incipio thought to include both a screen and a back protector- the back protector so your cards never come into actual direct contact with your phone and they still offer the case for under $40 impresses me. And while I don’t personally see using this case full-time I see a real use for having something like this on hand. And at the price of $39.99 it isn’t a heavy lift to get one… or two.
