Incipio is extending its line of external batteries with the new offGRID Turbo and offGRID Turbo+ USB-C universal and USB-C integrated portable power banks. I’ve used previous iterations of the offGRID line They’re durable, easy to use and a great addition to any gear bag. I have no doubt the same will be true with these new offerings.

Incipio’s latest portable power range includes two USB-C universal offGRID Turbo power banks and three USB-C integrated offGRID Turbo+ solutions, each featuring USB-C and USB-A ports for versatile and simultaneous device charging. The USB-C integrated offGRID™ Turbo+ power solutions include an attached USB-C cable that can be used as an input or output. With the integrated USB-C cable, users will have the convenience of an all-in-one charging solution to recharge their power bank or to charge their USB-C device.

The offGRID Turbo 6,800mAh features a single USB-C port for input or output. The output delivers 18W via USB-C for charging smartphones and tablets. It also has an additional USB-A output so you can also charge smartphones and tablets that are already being referred to as “legacy.” Strikingly, unless you have a USB-C to Lighting cable your current iPhone will be included in this latter grouping of devices. The $69.99 battery is small and thin enough to easily slip into a pocket or bag. Depending on the phone, the power bank provides up to 2 full smartphone charges.

The offGRID Turbo 10,000mAh also has a single USB-C port for input or output and a USB-A port for those “legacy” devices. The USB-C port delivers 30W of power and supports fast charging for compatible smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The USB-A port delivers 10W of and has auto-detect so you can charge two devices at once. Depending on your phone, it can provide over three full smartphone charge or up to a single full MacBook 12” charge. It has an MSRP of $89.99.

If you want to leave your cables behind you will want to check out the offGRID Turbo+ 6,800mAh. It has an integrated USB-C cable for both input and output, delivers 15W USB-C output and can provide up to two full smartphone charges. It also has an additional USB-A port to “support legacy smartphone and tablet charging.” It carries an MSRP of $59.99.

If you want almost double the capacity, you can check out the offGRID Turbo+ 10,000mAh. It too has an integrated USB-C cable for both input and output. The 18W USB-C power delivery output is capable of fast charging compatible Samsung and Google devices. The power bank can recharge faster than most other power banks when using a USB-C PD wall charger. It offers up to three full smartphone charges and, thanks to an additional USB-A port, can be used to charge those good old “legacy devices.” It carries an MSRP of $89.99

Finally, if you need a massive amount of extra charge on the go, you can check out the offGRID Turbo+ 16,000mAh. Also equipped with an integrated USB-C cable, so you don’t have to worry about leaving yours behind, its 45W USB-C power delivery output can not only charge USB-C laptops, but it can also fast charge compatible devices from the likes of Samsung and Google devices. Like the offGRID Turbo+ 10,000mAh, this power bank can recharge faster than most power banks when using a USB-C PD wall charger. The 16,000mAh power bank can be sued to fully charge either a MacBook 12” or MacBook Pro 13” or provide most smartphones with to 5 times. Of course, it too includes a USB-A port for those last-ten devices. It carries an MSRP of $129.99.

Raina and I are headed to the Galapagos this summer, and I just may have to pick up one of the offGRID Turbo+ 16,000mAh. After all, it would be a bummer to miss a shot or not be able to share the experience because my phone or laptop died.
