In the new world of “social distancing,” the gym is closed, and we’re all figuring out how to work out at home. It’s hard to get motivated if you’re not used to working out alone in your living room while binge-watching Chopped. Ergatta has a solution in their connected WaterRower, offering games and curated workouts to make exercise fun!

Ergatta Can Help You Row Your Way to Social Distancing

Rowing is an excellent full-body workout, but it can be hard to put together an organized, formal program if you’re not familiar with the nuances of rowing machines. Ergatta has that covered with artificial intelligence that helps shape your workouts and guides you to different challenge levels. There are also games to make rowing more fun and less tedious, and Ergatta says they offer hundreds of different variations of games, workouts, classes, and challenges to keep you engaged. Ergatta isn’t cheap, at $1,999 for the rower and $29 per month for the software, but honestly, $2,000 isn’t crazy for a quality rowing machine, and $29 per month for custom workouts is very reasonable. The hardware itself is made by WaterRower, though Ergatta doesn’t say which model specifically.

It might feel like a weird time to be investing in a rowing machine, but Ergatta is also working to improve the community at the same time. They’re offering free “white glove” shipping, donating $100 to Meals on Wheels for each rower sold, as well as donating $100 each time users level up on specific programs. So really, working out can directly help people!
