Ahem. We all have stress issues. I was talking to my therapist the other day about just how much the Plague Year increased the stress levels of everyone in general. So what do you do to cope? Meditate? Yoga? Dig into a big bag of weed? Well, being nerds here, maybe you need a gadget and an app, right? Maybe you should try the Flowtime Biosensing Meditation Headband.
It’s no news these days that wearables are all the rage. The Apple Watch is, of course, the most well-known, but if you’re a regular Gear Diary reader, you know we’ve told you and reviewed plenty of other wearables here.

It’s a lightweight headband that tracks brainwaves and heart rate in real-time during meditation to help strengthen long-term meditation training and improve stress resilience.
The Flowtime headband uses two-channel EEG acquisition technology to monitor brainwaves, heart rate, breathing, and attention and relaxation changes. It interacts with the app to provide both guided and guided meditation for both newbie and experienced meditators. (Is that a word? You know: People who meditate regularly.)
As you would expect, the Flowtime app stores and compares your meditation progress, provides detailed biometrics, gives you access to more than 100 sessions of meditation less, and is compatible with existing meditation apps such as Calm and Headspace.
