The Lowdown
I like the compact size of the Nomad 65W AC Wall Adapter. I appreciate the folding US 110V Prongs, and I am pleased to see Nomad release an AC wall adapter that can charge multiple devices simultaneously. Hopefully, the next offering offers even more power so that I can leave my MacBook Pro’s huge charging brick at home!

In my Nomad Base One Max review, I commented that potential buyers need to be aware that it requires a 30W AC wall adapter to work wirelessly and that one isn’t included. I also wrote that I’d love an additional charging port on the back. The new Nomad 65W AC Wall Adapter (largely) addresses both of those concerns.
The new 65W AC Adapter is the third addition to Nomad’s growing lineup of GaN chargers.

Unlike its predecessors, the Nomad 65W AC Wall Adapter has two USBC PD ports, so you get the ability to charge a third device if, for example, you are using the AC Wall Adapter with the Base One Max! In addition, as the name suggests, it delivers up to 65W of total power.
The 65W AC Wall Adapter is a solid heavy-duty plastic block with the Nomad name tastefully embossed on each side.
The US-Style prongs fold out from the body of the adapter. I love this feature as it makes it simple to throw an adapter like this into my backpack without worrying that I’ll bend the prongs.
Note: With some of their products, Nomad includes an AC adapter and a variety of plugs so they can be used anywhere in the world. This is not the case here. If you are planning to travel with this AC Wall Adapter, it would be wise to make sure you either won’t need an adapter or that you bring the proper one for your destination.

When charging a single device, the upper port delivers a full 65W.
When two devices are plugged in and charging simultaneously, the upper port delivers a maximum of 45W while the lower power maxes out at 20W. That means you can charge two devices at once, and one of them can be an M1 MacBook!
