Nomad has been on a roll releasing accessories that work with Apple’s MagSafe Mount. In April, they released a horizontal MagSafe Mount. Reviews were excellent but often included a request — people wanted a vertical version, so they could see their iPhone while it wirelessly charged. The new Nomad MagSafe Mount Stand has just been announced; it allows you to view your mounted iPhone either horizontally or vertically.
As I noted in my recent review of Moment’s MagSafe mount accessories, I’ve recently developed an appreciation for Apple’s MagSafe charging system. Those mounts do a great job of holding your iPhone, but they don’t address the need to charge your iPhone while it’s mounted. The Nomad Leather Cover for MagSafe Charger does.
When Apple’s new AirTag’s were released, my Tile Trackers became obsolete. Apple’s approach to locating keys and other everyday daily carries is more tightly integrated with iOS in ways Tile can’t match. But Apple offers no way to attach the pricey trackers to your daily carry. The new Nomad Leather Loop for AirTag elegantly solves that problem.
Nomad has just introduced a great way to upgrade your desk or nightstand aesthetics. Apple’s MagSafe chargers for iPhones are the simplest and fastest way to charge the device, but they are boring white discs. The Nomad Leather Cover for MagSafe wraps the plastic disc MagSafe charger in Horween leather and, in the process, gives them some style.
We recently brought word about the new Nomad Titanium Band for Apple Watch. I reviewed and love the original Titanium Band and wasn’t sure how they could improve upon it. But this is Nomad we are talking about, and they did indeed improve the band. It is better than ever and, to me, it’s a piece of wearable art.
We recently brought word that Nomad had released three new leather wallets. These include the new Card Wallet, the Card Wallet Plus, and the Bifold. Each is beautiful, and each serves a different approach to “every day carry.” Of the three new wallets, the Nomad Card Wallet Plus sits nicely in the middle and holds “just enough.”
Nomad is on a roll this spring and announcing one new product after another. Today, there are three new premium Nomad leather wallets to look at as well as a brand new product they call “Card for AirTag.” Each wallet has a different card capacity, so there’s sure to be one that’s just right for you. Card for AirTag then takes them to the next level.
When we first met Nomad, they were a startup with one cool but simple accessory for the iPhone. In the years since, their catalog has grown exponentially and, with it, our appreciation of their design sense and commitment to creating quality products. Their newest offerings include a Moment Rugged Case for the iPhone 12 Series and Rugged Cases for the Pixel Buds A-Series.
I’m back to wearing my Apple Watch daily; most days, it is sporting either the Nomad Titanium band I reviewed some time ago or the Nomad Active Strap Pro I recently reviewed. Adding to their Apple Watch band options, Nomad has just announced a new line of Steel and Titanium bands; they look great, and I can’t wait to try them!
Leave it to Apple to release a $29 tracker accessory with no native way to affix it to the item you want to track. For that, you need to spend at least $29 more on Apple’s AirTag Loop. And while the Loop holds the AirTag, it does nothing to protect it. Thankfully, there is now a line of Nomad AirTag Accessories.
Announced today, one of our favorite accessory makers is adding to its fleet of wireless charging accessories with its most minimalistic charger yet, the Nomad Base Station Mini.
During most of the year, my Apple Watch is dressed up in Nomad’s Titanium Band. It’s great for both business and casual wear but a bit on the heavy side. Now that it’s warming up, I wanted something lighter. The Nomad Active Strap Pro fits the bill. Made from waterproof leather, the $79.95 strap and comes in either black or brown.
One welcome feature of the latest iPhones is the MagSafe charging — designed for faster and most efficient charging. Recently Nomad released their MagSafe-compatible cases for the iPhone 12; starting today, the new Nomad MagSafe Mount will be available for purchase.
It’s time for a bit of spring cleaning for us all, but Nomad, one of our favorite brands, has launched their Spring Cleaning Outlet Sale that opens up the opportunity to get major discounts on several of their products as they make room for a bunch of new product launches coming down the line.
Nomad’s phone cases are some of the best, most refined, and most protective on the market. But when Nomad first introduced their iPhone 12 cases, they weren’t specifically designed to work with Apple’s new MagSafe charging system. The company has now released a line of Rugged Cases specifically designed to work with MagSafe for iPhone 12.
With just a few days left before 2020 ends, Nomad is releasing not one but two new products. Their Horween leather sleeve is a thing of beauty. Available for both the 13” and the 16” MacBook Pro, it offers refined protection… for a price. They’ve also announced a new leather mousepad; it’s the MacBook accessory you didn’t know you needed.
Nomad sent me their new Sport Strap to check out, and trust me — if you planned on getting an aftermarket band for your Apple Watch, this one needs to be it. It’s quite possibly the best third-party Apple Watch band I’ve ever used.
In addition to the Nomad Rugged Case for iPhone 12 we recently reviewed, we have also had a chance to check out the new Nomad Rugged Folio for the iPhone 12. It offers the same great protection as the Rugged Case while protecting the iPhone’s screen and letting you leave your wallet at home.
Nomad has released a range of new cases for the four versions of the iPhone 12. They sent a few samples for my iPhone 12 Pro, and, as usual, they are impressive. Here’s a quick look at the Nomad Rugged Case for the iPhone 12 Pro. Made from Horween leather and available in three different colors, they are gorgeous.
This Holiday Season will be unlike any we have previously experienced, and gift-giving will be too. After all, people feel the financial pinch and, many of us are spending more time in our homes than ever. Here are some of the items that might make meaningful and practical gifts this year. You might see something for you, too!
A little over a year ago, Shark Tank profiled an innovative wireless charging technology. The pitchers said they had thousands of pre-orders from one company. I immediately KNEW it must be Nomad. I was right, and Aira’s FreePower tech is in the new Nomad Base Station Pro Full-Surface Wireless Charger. It is a game-changer.
