A few weeks ago, I shared the news that our friends at Nomad had released a new wireless charging stand. The Nomad Base Station Stand is a premium wireless charger whose thoughtful design and premium features make it stand out in an ever-more crowded market. Now that I have one in and I can share some of my personal impressions.
Last year it seemed as if Nomad was releasing a new product every week or two. In fact, over the last two or three years, the company’s catalog has exploded in size with amazing, premium mobile device accessories. Their first new release of 2020 is the Nomad Base Station Stand; it looks great and is definitely worth checking out.
I love my fast, comfortable, cellular-connected Apple Watch Gen 4 and wear it daily. Over the summer, I used the Nomad Sport Strap so I could swim. (Read my review.) The rest of the time I’ve used the titanium band. (Read my review.) Since getting the new $69.95 the Nomad Active Strap, however, it’s been my “go-to” strap; here’s why.
We reviewed Nomad’s leather wallet with Tile tracking some time ago. (Read our review.) Now they have announced their new Nomad Traditional Passport Wallet with Tile Tracking. Made with the same Horween leather we’ve seen in many of Nomad’s other products; its thoughtful design looks great, while the built-in Tile tracker means you’ll keep track of your valuable travel documents.
Nomad has long been one of Gear Diary’s favorite brands, with everything from leather cases for our phones to bands for Apple Watches. For this Black Friday, they are marking down items on their entire site, with savings up to 70% off on some items.
Nomad makes some of our favorite mobile device accessories; their cables, cases, and chargers are among the best we have reviewed, and their iPhone 11 cases are some of the nicest we have seen. Now Nomad is running an amazing giveaway contest that could have you rocking a new iPhone 11 AND some great Nomad gear. Read on for details.
If you’ve been looking for a wallet that holds just the essentials, one that you won’t end up losing, Nomad’s Slim Wallet with built-in Tile Integration is the only wallet that you’ll ever need.
For the fourth year in a row, Nomad is ready to protect your new iPhone. Many of the cases build on time-tested designs with iterative improvements to already-great cases. Of course, Nomad is also throwing something new into the mix of their new cases for the 2019 iPhones.
Our friends at Nomad woke up this morning, realized it was Labor Day, and decided that their day off would be made even better if they held a flash sale. So that’s what they are doing! Nomad makes some of the best cables, charging hubs and phones case. We’re fans; that’s especially true when they are on sale.
Wireless charging has finally taken but cables for charging and syncing devices are still a necessary evil of modern life. My cables of choice come from Nomad. They are the most durable I’ve found and are pretty much the only ones I use. Now Nomad has rolled out a new line of cables that are even better.
The other day, I read a report that suggested reforestation on a grand scale could be the best way to address climate disruption. At the time, I thought it would be great if billionaires and companies could get behind this. Nomad has done just that, and both consumers and the planet will benefit.
If you’re planning on picking up a new pair of Airpods, be it the original Airpods, or the newly released Airpods 2, you should check out these two products from Nomad.
When I first received my Google Pixel 3 XL, I went through phases of not using a case, and using overly bulky cases that promised protection; then the Nomad Rugged Leather Case arrived at my doorstep.
I loved my original Apple Watch but eventually stopped wearing it. Since buying the Series 4 Apple Watch, I’ve been wearing it daily. I’ve tried plenty of nice Apple Watch bands, but the Nomad Titanium Band (available in Silver or Space Gray) is in a league of its own. Sure, it’s pricey, but this is one beautiful and comfortable band.
Nomad makes excellent wares for Apple Products like Horween leather Apple Watch bands, cases, and their wireless chargers that are compatible with any Qi-Wireless charging devices. However, there were two specific things the brand was missing: A natural leather Apple Watch band for smaller wrists and a matching case to hold Airpods. Effective today, both are available for purchase.
So you bought, or plan to get, an Apple Watch. It will ship with a band, but it will likely be little more than functional. They are nothing to get excited over. The good news is that Nomad offers some impressive watch bands that take things upon a notch. Among them is the beautiful Nomad Shell Cordovan Strap for Apple Watch.

I recently reviewed the Nomad Base Station Hub Edition. I love the sleek design, quality build and materials and the ability to wirelessly charge two phones and wired devices. Sadly, it doesn’t charge my Apple Watch. The new $119.95 Nomad Base Station Apple Watch Edition has the same great design, and it charges my Apple Watch.
When it comes to good quality leather cases for my iPhone, I don’t bother with any other company that’s not named Nomad. The company sent me over three of their cases for the new iPhone XS Max to review, and trust me, they beat even Apple’s own leather cases.
