I love hosting the fantasy draft. My wife makes food and the eleven other team owners and I have a great time picking our teams. The one part of the draft I usually dislike is keeping up with all of my printed rankings and cheat sheets. After a few rounds it is just a pile of confusion.
This app is a perfect fix. When opening the app there are two options: Create a new draft list, or check out ESPN draft rankings. Both options show the players as ranked by ESPN.
An NFL news ticker is found on the front page and is pretty up to date. On Tuesday morning the ticker had news about Brett Favre’s performance on Monday night. The rankings list is similar to the cheat sheets found on the net or in magazines. Browse player rankings by position or all players. All, QB, RB, TE, WR, K, and defense tabs will assist in choosing the best of each position. The players team and bye week are included as well as the 2009 projected ranking.
If a closer look at any players is needed, click on their name and check out their player card. A ton of information including stats and ESPN expert analysis is included.
Up to five draft lists can be created during drafts. Keep up with the draft by adding players to the list. Available players are easy to see and a list of drafted players will help track your team. This is much easier than thumbing through stacks of papers and magazines and scratching out each player. More time will be available to decide the your next move.
Before your draft is complete, make sure you pick up the ESPN Fantasy Football 2009 Draft Kit. You cannot go wrong with information from ESPN and the app is FREE in the app store.
