Today 2K and Irrational Games released the first expansion (a.k.a. downloadable content (DLC)) pack for BioShock Infinite – BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds on the PlayStation 3 ($4.99), Xbox 360 (400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live), and PC ($4.99).
Gear, Tears, Vigors, Sky-Lines, and weapons will help players conquer four new areas including the Museum, Emporia Arcade, and Duke and Dimwith Theater. BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds is set in a unique arena shooter format with the main character Booker DeWitt and his companion Elizabeth as the playable characters. Players can also unlock exclusive content including voxophones, kinetoscopes, and concept art when finishing all 60 Blue Ribbon challenges.
“BioShock Infinite Season Pass” owners get BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds for free plus the upcoming two-part add-on campaigns that includes Booker and Elizabeth titled BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea, set in the underwater city of Rapture before its demise.
Do the math and you might want “go long” for that special pass ($19.99 or 1600 Microsoft Points) since each BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea campaign will cost $15.00 or 1200 Microsoft points each. The “BioShock Infinite Season Pass” includes all three pieces of add-on content, as well as the Early Bird Special Pack.
So far Bioshock Infinite released this past March and is best-selling multiplatform video game of 2013.
