Users learn Spanish by stepping through levels of increasingly difficult game-play, identifying or matching images, words or phrases in one language with images, words or phrases in the other. Users can track their progress by accessing the Honors Page, a leader board that motivates players to continue learning, and encourages them to share their personal achievements with friends via Game Center.

This “first new gamified language-learning app for adults” follows the September 2013 release of Rosetta Stone Kids Lingo Letter Sounds®, which was designed for children ages three to six. Additional mobile apps are slated to launch later this year and in 2014 (hopefully expanding the languages and available formats (Android, etc.)). Rosetta Stone Arcade Academy is iOS 7 compatible.
