We’ve known the folks at State Bicycle Co for a while now, after having reviewed their 4130 Core Line fixed gear bike back in 2018.  State is known for making high-quality bikes that are accessible and affordable.  The introduction of the 4130 All-Road is no exception.  Starting at $799.99, you get a gravel bike with an impressive set of features.

The 4130 All-Road is State Bicycle Co’s most versatile bike ever.  It’s a do-it-all gravel bike that blends all of State’s abilities into the most capable and value-packed bikes on the market.  With the All-Road, you have an 11-speed drivetrain, the option to choose between speedy 700c wheels and rugged 650b wheels, and it has a ton of accessory mounts.  The All-Road looks to be an awesome bike, whether you’re commuting, touring, or riding on gravel.

The All-Road’s frame is made out of 4130 Chromoly steel, which is durable yet flexible on dirt.  The frame’s geometry is designed to be comfortable after long rides and it comes in two colors and four sizes.  The colors are Pigeon Grey and Sonoran Tan.  What’s neat about the 4130 All-Road is you can swap between 700c wheels and 650b wheels, making it an excellent all-around bike.  You can even order the bike with two sets of wheels, tires, tubes, rotors, and cassettes for an additional $349.99.

State Bicycle Co is aware of the current state of the nation and is consciously announcing their new bike at this time because they’ve received an influx of presales and emails about when a new bike will be available for purchase. State feels that they’re supporting the cycling community while also using their platform to help amplify the #25MilesForJustice campaign.  The campaign, started by cyclist Garnett Whitmire, urges bicyclists to log 25 miles in memory of George Floyd while also donating to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.  Here’s a telling quote from State Bicycle Co co-founder, Medhi Farsi:

Supporting our community can take multiple forms, and for us, it always comes back to the bicycle. We will continue working to represent the diversity within the cycling community and using our space to lift voices other than our own.
