Disney Universe owners can now nab the “The Muppets Costume Pack” for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game versions on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Inspired by the newly released home video family comedy The Muppets, players can suit up in familiar character costumes, such as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal, The Great Gonzo, and Fozzie Bear. Players can also find previously released downloadable content on XBox Live and PlayStation Network. Disney Universe is also available in Nintendo Wii and PC versions.
Disney Universe offers all-ages platform action gaming featuring several characters from animated and live-action Disney and Pixar films. More than 45 classic (Snow White, Winnie the Pooh) and contemporary (Tangled, TRON: Legacy) character costumes add variety and have a special upgradable property. Each character’s special traits could have a strategic impact on the game, but players can really enjoy the fast-paced actions, environments, and scenarios that mirror the films at each level among six different worlds. Levels also contain special bonus challenges and everyone can get in on the act as gameplay centers on co-operative play. As many as four friends can play the local multiplayer modes, which also include rankings.

The latest downloadable content for “Disney Universe” joins the previously released “Phineas and Ferb” level, “The Jungle Book Costume Pack,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas” level and the “Disney Villains Costume Pack.”
