I never thought I would be one of those people that used a hand strap, but at some point over the last year, I decided that I really like having one. I’ve been using a little freebie strap that came with a PQI flash drive, but the WirelessGround USB Leather Hand Strap I was sent convinced me to try something new.
Why would I want to add a 7.5? long x 0.3? wide leather strap with a 0.6? square near its end to my Mogul? Well…check it out!
When you tug on the square sheath, you’ll reveal a set of formerly concealed miniUSB and USB connectors!
The first few times you pull the sheath back to reveal the connectors, it will feel very tight; over time the sheath will loosen up a little bit and will easily clip and pull apart becoming much easier to use. They stay neatly stored away in their metal tray until you are ready to sync and charge.
That’s all there is to it, no adapters needed and the USB Leather Hand Strap will work with any mobile phone that allows charging via USB port.
It took me a little while to get used to such a long strap, but now the convenience has won me over. This longer-than-usual strappage has actually come in handy when the Mogul is buried in the bottom of my bag; nine times out of ten, I can just use the strap to find my phone. If you are looking for a hand strap that will secure your phone and do a bit more, then this is the one!
The USB Leather Hand Strap is available from WirelessGround.
MSRP: $19.95 (On special now for $11.95)
What I Like: There is always a USB sync & charge cable handy; the strap is a great security feature
What Needs Improvement: nothing really, you just have to get used to the hand strap’s length and bulk
