Sure, my iPhone X has wireless charging, but it never hurts to have a USB to Lightning cable handy. This product makes sure you have one at all times.
The LIFEACTÍV Lightning Connector to USB Cable Lanyard looks like a standard lanyard. You know, the kind of lanyard you use to secure a camera or an iPhone in a LifeProof case to your wrist. It is that… but it is much more.
The lanyard “strap” is a USB to Lightning cable. The two connector ends — the USB and the Lightning connectors — fit together to form a single unit.
The cable is 15.67″ long. It has a rugged braided design that will take plenty of use and abuse. And it’s not just any cable. It is designed to supply 2.4 Amp charging to that, when used with a wall adapter or battery that supports fast charging, the cable will be up to the task.
First, you put the two sides together.
From there, you simply screw the cap on to the connectors. The connectors, always a bit on the delicate side of things, are safely protected inside the cap. And when I write “protected” I mean LifeProof-style protected.
The cap seals the connectors from the elements and can be submerged in up to 3.28’ (1m) of water for up to 30 minutes. The closed end of the cap has a short loop of strong but thin cable that loops around a lanyard anchor.

What I Like: The wrist strap of the lanyard quickly converts into a 15” USB to Lightning cable; When the connectors are screwed into the cap they are protected in water up to 33’ for 30 minutes
