Olight Marauder Mini 2 Review: A Compact 10,000-Lumen Flashlight Built for Serious Outdoor and Emergency Use

Having a great flashlight is an excellent tool, whether while travelling or around the house. Olight is an industry leader in power flashlight options, and the Marauder Mini 2 is no exception. The compact light is made to last and packed with features. With dual charging options, waterproof construction, and intuitive controls, you cannot go wrong with this flashlight.

The Olight Marauder Mini 2 is a compact, high-performance rechargeable flashlight delivering up to 10,000 lumens of floodlight and a focused beam that can reach up to 750 meters. It is suitable for outdoor, emergency, and professional use and offers five lighting modes. With a length of 133 mm and a diameter of 43 mm, the light fits well in a one-handed grip. For complete vision in the dark, combine the spotlight and flood light to get the best of both worlds. This option is tougher on the battery, but it really lights up an area both around you and in the distance. My son called it ludicrous mode.

One option I love to use during hunting season is the red light. The red light shines up to 120 m and up to 400 lumens. It is perfect to use when you need clarity after turning it off, and animals also tend not to react to a red light. Ideal for coming in and out of the deer blind early in the morning or after an evening hunt.

As if Olight did not already cover all the possibilities, they added a side light. It is a small light that gives up to 22 m of area light at 200 lumens. This is a great low-power option for when you need some light right next to you.

The Marauder Mini 2 is powered by a 7,500 mAh battery, which provides ample runtime, especially for extended emergency use or outdoor trips. The USB-C charging cable that doubles as a wrist strap is a great feature, and it can also be charged via an optional magnetic charging cable (MCC).

The Olight Marauder Mini 2 is an excellent flashlight for its size. The compact body fits nicely in the palm of one hand, yet it is made to withstand the elements and take a beating. With five lighting modes, one light can be used for most any situation, and the battery provides plenty of run time. I like the rotary selector and how Olight has integrated the toggle switches to make it easy to reach each mode. The designers have thoughtfully created a really nice light that is rugged and packed with features.
