She started in 1999 writing software reviews at the now-defunct smaller.com; from mid-2000 through 2006, she wrote hardware reviews for and co-edited at The Gadgeteer. A recipient of the Sigma Kappa Colby Award for Technology, Judie is best known for her device-agnostic approach, deep-dive reviews, and enjoyment of exploring the latest tech, gadgets, and gear.

That was a great article … I know there is some ‘Steve overload’ … but so glad to see this.
Truly powerful… and after going through his biography it is nice to see this side of him. Wow… oh Wow…
Yes, I almost didn’t post for that very reason. But because this eulogy was so moving and so (for lack of a better word) powerful, I had to. An absolutely amazing tribute, and I can’t imagine that there was a dry eye at the funeral after its reading.
