As I watched the season finale of The Walking Dead Sunday night, one of my kids hollered from the other room, “Why does everything have to do with zombies?” We do not let them watch the show of course, but he knew I was watching what he calls, “that zombie show.” Even though he had a point, I did not have a good answer. I simply replied, “because killing zombies is so fun.” He definitely agreed and told me there are some fun games where you have to kill zombies. It just so happens that I also found a game that fits both of those statements called Zombie Highway. If you have not yet joined the zombie killing craze, now is your chance. Let’s take a quick look!
Your goal is to survive… but you wont. How long will you last?
It’s you, your heavily armed passenger, against a boatload of super-strong, leaping zombies.
Steer to avoid obstacles all while trying to SMASH latched on zombies into debris – OR – run them down before they can
jump on your car!
Shoot zombies with a growing arsenal of handguns, shotguns, and automatics. Shoot recently smashed zombies for extra damage!
Improve your skills, unlock weapons, beat all your friends on facebook! It will be hard to put this one down.
Cars. Guns. Zombies. What more could you want!?
– Crisp 3D graphics – **runs at full 960×640 Retina display on iPhone 4!**
– Immersive CD Quality Audio
– Highly Addicting, Highly polished gameplay
– High Scores: Compete globally or against your Game Center friends!
Seamless Game Center integration for easy, addictive competition

– 8 Different kinds of jumping zombies!
– Leaderboards for most kills and total miles
Driving through the desert fending off an army of zombies is not as easy as it sounds. Start the game by choosing a vehicle and weapons. Vehicles perform differently according to Speed, Weight and Handling. You begin with a simple SUV and unlock others as the game advances. Faster cars will of course advance quicker, but heavier cars will be less affected by the weight of the zombies. Some of them can force the vehicle to swerve, often causing a collision with obstacles and ending the game. Heavier vehicles also do not handle as well, making navigation tricky. Weapons are also unlock able and deliver various levels of damage. To fire a weapon, tap the green area on the side of the screen. Think of it as the four windows of the vehicle as each zombie can attach to any of those spots. Some zombies are heavy and can tip or even flip the vehicle and some take several scrapes to kill so weight and handling will change your style of play. Eight different types of zombies keep the game challenging and fresh. Each zombie has certain strengths and weaknesses making it more difficult to defeat them. They seem to get nastier the further into each level you travel.
The challenge of traveling further and further into each level and killing more zombies proves to be quite addicting. The more miles you travel, the more weapons and new levels you will unlock. I have done much better with the heavier General vehicle and continue to improve. The longer I play, the more balanced I become in using weapons with scraping zombies off of my vehicle. It will take a balance of each in order to get better and advance further in the game. The steering physics of the game are responsive and the firing buttons are located in intuitive positions. I had no time firing without looking and my thumbs never blocked any of the gameplay. The graphics look great on the retina screen and the audio adds to the experience. For a game that is free now, the game is polished and fun. I also noticed that several updates have improved the game which lets me know the developers are consistently working to improve and add to the game. What I like: Driving, shooting and killing zombies. Need I say more?!?!
What could be improved: I would love to see some power ups or added weapons that can be picked up during levels.

The sequel to BridgeBasher is finally here! SimplePhysics lets you design complex structures for everything from tree houses to ferris wheels and then simulates your design with a sophisticated physics engine.
A wise person once said: “An engineer is someone who can do for a dime what any fool can do for a dollar.” In SimplePhysics, your design must not only be strong enough, it must be cheap enough to win. With the built-in Leaderboards, you can also compete with people all around the world to see who can create the most cost effective designs.
Create your design in seconds with the blueprints editor. If you make a mistake, simply tap the Undo button. Zoom in and out by pinching the screen and pan the view using a two finger drag.
While testing, you can see how the strain is distributed across your design. Areas that are under immense strain are colored bright red, while other areas are colored green. This allows you to find and fix problem areas in your design.
The finger test lets you use your finger to push and pull on your design. You can use this with pinpoint accuracy, or you can just smash your design to smithereens. The finger test has an explosive new twist. You can now create explosions by tapping the screen for ultimate annihilation.
The newly added Bomb Shack level includes a dummy with full support for ragdoll physics. Throw him around, blow him up, and smash him against your design.
The slow motion feature lets you slow things down so you can see how your design is failing, and it is also incredibly fun to watch explosions destroying your design in slow motion.
* Realistic physics simulation
* Ragdoll physics
* Slow motion mode
* Stress display shows problem areas in your design
* Wide variety of levels!
* Finger Test – smash your design to pieces, or blow it up with realistic explosions!
* Save/Load designs
* E-mail your blueprints to your friends
* Universal support for the iPad
