Have you ever thought about the music that was popular when you were born? No? But now Playback.fm lets you enter your birthdate and see what the top song was when you were born!

For most of us, the music popular when we were in high school tends to dominate our ‘musical psyche’ and form nostalgia as we get older. But the top song when we were born is more about the music that your parents might have been hearing on the radio when you were in utero and being born.

My result? The Ballad of the Green Berets by SSgt Barry Sadler.

Looking at my family:
– For my wife: Eve of Destruction by Barry McGuire
– My older son: Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix) by Los Del Rio
– My younger son: Nice & Slow by Usher

So head to Playback.fm and enter your birthday and see what was the most popular song – and let us know in the comments!
