The new Olivers Gold Coast Shirt Jacket has just been announced, just a few months after one of my personal favorites, the Olivers Stadium Shirt Jacket, came to market. This new offering is made from a Merino Wool and recycled Polyester blend; thermoregulation and anti-microbial properties are just the beginning of what will make this outwear a winner.
Olivers note that they are “particularly excited about” this new outerwear offering. The Olivers Gold Coast Shirt Jacket is made from a special fabric that combines 35% Merino Twill Weave and 65% Recycled Polyester. Thanks to the merino wool, it offers the thermoregulation and anti-microbial properties that make merino wool increasingly popular; this shirt jacket is also incredibly soft to the touch and promises comfort on cold mornings and chilly nights.
The $158 Stadium Shirt Jacket was already pricey, but I’ve already gotten a tremendous amount of use from it, and it still looks brand new. At $228, the Olivers Gold Coast Shirt Jacket is even pricier, but it has features that make it an even better option for anyone looking for a stylish outer layer that can be dressed up or down during fall, winter, or spring.
Olivers has this to say about it:
Lightweight and easy to wear, the Gold Coast Shirt Jacket is made with a Merino Wool and Polyester blend for a dependable layer you’ll be reaching for through the Fall, Winter and into Spring. The jacket is finished off with custom Olivers branded horn buttons and a lightweight, insulated lining, making it perfect for layering or wearing as a stand-alone.
Available in two colors, I love the refined look and the promised hand-feel of the new Gold Coast Shirt Jacket. I also love the fact that, as I have discovered, Olivers’ clothing is solidly built and is an investment in your wardrobe.
