My wife’s and my busy lives can make it hard to keep up with daily cleaning. We also have two dogs, including our labrador Lola who makes a mess and sheds plenty. I recently tried the Neabot NoMo Q11 Robot Vacuum in our den, which is where my family spends most of our time. Let’s take a look at this self-emptying robot vacuum.

Along with the vacuum and dust collection charging station, the NoMo Q11 package includes two vacuum bags, two washable mop pads, and a mopping attachment.

The Neabot NoMo Q11 is designed for large homes and includes a 4000Pa strong suction and self-emptying dustbin. Set up is quickly done by following the instruction board included in the box. The vacuum charges and connects to the mobile app in just minutes.

Once the Neabot NoMo Q11 begins to clean, a voice will let you know it is now cleaning. The voice will also let you know if the cleaning is paused or if cleaning is finished and dust collecting is happening.

Despite the 4000Pa suction power, the vacuum is relatively quiet and will boost the suction when it senses carpet.

The body height measures 3.42″, so the bot can navigate some tight spaces. Unlike other vacuums I have used, the Neabot NoMo Q11, which my son has named Neo, has yet to get stuck or be lost underneath anything.

The AI obstacle avoidance is based on structured light technology and 3D imaging. It contains Lidar to learn your house and be able to avoid obstacles.

Once my den is clean, it actually knows all of it has been done and returns to empty the dustbin. It feels like each time it cleans, it finds a better path to take and goes quicker.

The Neabot NoMo Q11 charger/dustbin

The vacuum easily finds the charging/dust collection system and will park and let you know dust collection will commence. A short burst of a vacuum whooshing sound, similar to an upright vac’s sound, cleans out the robot and moves the dust and detritus into a 2.5L collection bag.

Neabot claims up to 30 days of dust, and I have yet to fill the first of the two bags provided in the package. The collection bags are easy to replace when full, and they help contain all of the collected particles when it is time to empty the dust bin.

My only quibble is that, similar to Judie’s issue with the Uoni V980 Plus robot vac, too much pet hair will prevent the vacuum from completely self-emptying into the dustbin.

I recommend more frequent cleanings if you have pets to give the vac a chance to keep up.

I am quite amazed at the navigation ability of the Neabot NoMo Q11. It easily sees all and can move right around it, not leaving dirty spaces.

Our bar stools and even the crate doors for the dogs are no problem for the vacuum to avoid; this thing is comprehensive in its cleaning ability.

The app gives you complete control of how the bot cleans your house. The app connects to the vacuum, which will map out your home and allow for restricted areas to keep it from entering.

If you live in a multiple-floor house, that is no problem. The Q11 can map up to 3 floors in your home, making it mobile and an entire house solution; you’ll just have to pick it up and move it between floors.

As it cleans, the path is indicated on the map; for instance, I can see where my bar stools are on the above screenshot.

The Q11 really does a great job of keeping the floor clean. As you can see, I swept up some dirt, grass, and Lola’s hair and tossed it right in the vacuum’s path.

The photo below is the same tile after the bot ran over it and turned back around to head the other way.

The floor is a lot cleaner without much effort on my part.

The NoMo Q11 also has a built-in 300ml water tank; the robot can sweep, mop and vacuum simultaneously, and it won’t try to mop your rugs.

Once the mop attachment is connected under the vacuum, it will automatically go into mopping mode.

The mop pads simply velcro onto the attachment, and I found no trouble with them sliding around or coming off during use.

In all honesty, we don’t use the mopping feature much because we find regular mopping to be more effective than anything a robot can do. Like most robot vacs with a mopping feature, it’s fine for quick cleanups but not really for deep cleaning.

The Neabot NoMo Q11 has been an excellent addition to our most utilized room. There is never a lack of dirt and pet hair with two dogs and two teenagers constantly traveling through; we can now keep the room clean (almost) without lifting a finger!

I am impressed by the Q11’s ability to navigate a room and obstacles and absolutely love how the charging station also vacuums out the bot to keep it clean. If you have high traffic, large home, this is a great option to keep your floors clean.

The Neabot NoMo Q11 sells for $599.99; it is available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including Amazon.
