It folds out, and you can then insert the posts into the platform that holds the net up; it’s really cool.

PaddleSmash gameplay is simple: you want to smash the ball down on the platform and ensure it comes out past the net; then, it’s the other team’s turn to try to return the ball.

The goal is to force your opponent to be unable to return the ball into play by either not getting it into the net/platform or being unable to get it out past the net. You can also pass to your teammate while the ball is in the air, so you can see where PaddleSmash is pickleball meets spikeball.

It’s not a great game for younger kids, as they don’t have the coordination or strength to hit it hard enough to get out of the net, but older kids and adults should have no problem. Overall, we really enjoyed our time playing!
