The Lowdown

I’m glad to include the xSuit Air in my growing wardrobe of the company’s products. It is a remarkable suit that combines style, comfort, and practicality. Its maximum stretch, wrinkle resistance, and breathability make it perfect for men who are always on the go. The added benefits of being machine washable and stain-resistant further enhance its appeal.

It might be easy to think of the xSuit Air as the ultimate travel suit. After all, it is breathable, machine washable, resistant to wrinkles, and repels odor even after a long, hot day. But the xSuit Air isn’t just for travel. This “travel suit” is also a great way to look clean and professional daily when the temperature rises.

The company describes the xSuit Air this way:

Designed for men on the move. Experience true freedom and comfort without compromising on style. Whether you’re attending a board meeting or a destination wedding, xSuit lets you look and feel your best with minimal effort.

I loved and continue to wear the xSuit 3.0 I reviewed some months ago, and I am equally impressed with the lighter, unlined xSuit Air. Let’s dig into some of the xSuit Air’s features, then, I’ll share some additional thoughts.

The xSuit Air’s Key Features

Maximum Stretch

One of the standout features of xSuit’s products is their incredible stretch. The xSuit 3.0 has it, and the xSuit Shirt 3.0 does, too. Thankfully, the xSuit Air maintains this signature feature, and as a result, it is among the most comfortable suits I’ve ever worn.

Thanks to the fabric, which is 84% nylon and 16% spandex blend, the suit never binds and offers unparalleled flexibility and comfort. The material is so light and stretchy that you just might forget you are wearing a suit at all. That makes it a game-changer on long, steamy days of meetings or events.

Wrinkle-resistant and Machine Washable

I hated taking my suits to the dry cleaners; it was inconvenient and expensive. Thankfully, with xSuit products, those days are over. Even after your zSuit Air has been packed in a suitcase for days, its wrinkle-resistant fabric will keep you looking polished and professional.

When the xSuit Air gets soiled, you machine wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle with a light detergent. After that, you simply hang it to dry in the shade. That’s it. There’s no need to iron or press, and there’s no need to spend money on dry cleaning.

Extra Breathable

Other suits can feel stuffy and constricting. The xSuit Air addresses this with extra breathable material that keeps me cool and comfortable, even in warm weather. That makes it an excellent choice for summer business meetings and trips or any time when you need to dress more formally, but know it will be warm.

Stain-Resistant and Provides Odor Control

I can get sweaty and smelly after a long, hot day. The xSuit Air has that covered, thanks to odor control built into the special fabric. It ensures I stay fresh throughout the day. In addition, the fabric has USA-developed nanotechnology that repels stains and liquids so that accidental spills won’t be a concern.

Putting all these features together results in a light suit that looks and feels great, stays that way all day, and is as easy to clean as a T-shirt and jeans. Convenience, comfort, and cost savings are a nice combination; you get all of them with the xSuit Air.

xSuit Air Materials and Care

  • Do not tumble dry
  • We recommend steaming over ironing whenever possible
  • If ironing, avoid ironing over fused seams
  • Do not dry-clean

The xJacket Air, however, has an internal vertical pocket on the right side and a horizontal zippered pocket on the left side to keep items safe. There’s also a small open pocket on the lower left side for a pair of glasses or other items you want to carry in your jacket but need to access quickly.

There aren’t the same number of travel features that I’ve found in other travel suits, but there are enough to make it excellent for daily wear and travel.

Having previously reviewed the xSuit 4.0 and xShirt 4.0, I was excited to try out the xSuit Air, and this suit has quickly become my new favorite. It’s incredibly thin, light, and perfect for warm weather. The stretch feels like no other suit I’ve worn before—like wearing air.

I took the xPants Air on a trip and was thrilled to find they didn’t wrinkle, even after being folded in my suitcase for two days. The xJacket Air isn’t lined, giving it a slightly more casual look than traditional suits, but this is a plus in my book.

The xPants Air can be worn without the jacket, making them versatile for professional settings on hot days. I liked the xPants Air so much that I just purchased another pair in Navy!

I’ve quickly become a fan of xSuit products. They look professional but feel like athletic wear and require little more than a washing machine or sink to refresh when they get soiled.
