Withings is all about finding ways to connect you to your health in ways that are easy to manage and understand. They’re especially concerned with cardiac health, and their new Withings BPM Vision device and Withings Cardio Check-Up program will take heart health to a new level!
The Withings BPM Vision is designed to make at-home blood pressure monitoring easier in every way. Withings offers interchangeable cuff sizes, multi-user capabilities, and a high-resolution screen with color-coded feedback; it can provide motivational messages, medication reminders, and questions about symptoms to help consolidate data.
A health tool is only helpful if its users engage with it, so making a blood pressure monitor easier to use is key! The Withings BPM Vision should be available in April 2025, pending FDA approval, starting at $129.95.
In addition to new hardware, Withings has launched a new service called Cardio Check-Up. It’s a service that connects users with a cardiologist within 24 hours.
The service is compatible with all Withings devices offering ECG capabilities, from watches to scales. It allows a cardiologist to review your ECG and respond within 24 hours if you’re concerned about AFib or other arrhythmias, all within the Withings app.
You also get a quarterly virtual check-in with a cardiologist if you’re a yearly Withings subscriber ($99.95/year) or every 90 days if you’re monthly ($9.95/month).
Withings Cardio Check-Up isn’t going to replace your regular doctor, but it does mean that you have access to a medical professional helping you if something crazy appears in your health monitoring, as well as helping you make sense of the immense (and immensely useful) data Withings generates about you!
For all the talk of ease of use, the best thing seems to be the sleek case they included.
These could be useful for some people. Making the blood pressure monitor easy to use should help with getting accurate measurements.
