Lenovo Adds Impressive Updates to Yoga, Legion, and IdeaPad Computers While Also Teasing Some Exciting Future Devices!

Lenovo knows that all work and no play can make for a sad experience. Whether you’re primarily working hard on spreadsheets with the occasional YouTube doomscroll, creating art both on and off the clock, or gaming while answering the occasional email, Lenovo has devices that can seamlessly handle your professional and personal worlds without breaking a sweat.

The Always Exciting Yoga Line

When you think of the Lenovo Yoga computer family, you think of a computer that’s powerful and flexible enough to handle everything. Both literally and figuratively, since the “yoga” portion refers to the hinges that let them twist, turn, and angle into all sorts of configurations.

Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition

Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition

If you’re looking for an AI-ready computer that’s a drawing tablet, laptop, collaboration tool, and more, you’re looking for a Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition. “Aura Edition” laptops from Lenovo feature the cutting edge in AI on PCs, from Shield Mode that tells you to use your VPN and alerts you to lurkers, Attention Mode that shuts down distractions, better battery management than ever, and a Wellness Mode that notes if you’re slumping or at risk of eye strain and reminds you to engage in some self care.

The 9i 2-in 1 Aura is the latest in this impressive family of devices. You get a 14″ screen that clocks in with 1100 nits peak brightness and 100% of DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, and sRGB color spaces. If you don’t speak tech specs, it will get as bright as you need, with depth of color so you can really see the details you need for any creative or visual work. Of course, it’s a touchscreen and works with the Yoga Pen Gen 2. The 2-in-1 moniker is a little misleading, as there are actually five modes: Canvas Mode, Tablet Mode, Tent Mode, Stand Mode, and Laptop Mode, like a choose-your-own-adventure for computers.

Under the hood, it’s running Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, and you won’t miss any accessories thanks to the pair of USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A port, HDMI 2.1, and even an audio combo jack. You won’t need to stress over which mode creates the best sound either, since Lenovo cleverly features a four-speaker system with two tweeters integrated into the 360-degree rotating hinge that always fire upwards. There are also two woofers at the bottom of the laptop for bass, and four integrated microphones so you get 360-degree voice pickup.

You might be wondering how Canvas Mode differs from Tablet Mode, and that comes back to the Yoga Pen. Lenovo includes a Yoga Pen Gen 2 magnetic case for the top of the laptop, which not only handily stores your pen but also tips the screen up just enough to make for an ergonomic and extremely pleasant experience when drafting or drawing. Otherwise that Aura Edition AI will get very upset about your posture!

Yoga 9i Aura Edition will come in Cosmic Blue with mirror-finish sidewalls; in addition to good looks, it is tested to MIL-STD-810H standards and clocks in at a svelte 2.84 pounds. Look for it starting in May 2026 for $1,949.

Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition

Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition

And if portability is your bigger concern, check out the 9i’s little brother, the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, which prioritizes size and battery, coming in at a featherweight 2.5 pounds and showing off some style in Seashell, Cosmic Blue, and Mystic Violet. It shaves off a few ports, down to 3 USB-C Thunderbolts, and runs on up to an Intel Core Ultra 9, but still offers all the Aura bells and whistles that its big brother provides. Expect it in April 2026, starting at $1,449.

Yoga Pro 7a

Yoga Pro 7a

Maybe you’re looking for more — more power, more screen, more computer. Enter the Yoga Pro 7a, rocking a 15″ screen and AMD Ryzen AI Max+ processors. It’s not an Aura Edition, but it does offer Copilot+ for plenty of AI assistance. There are 4 Dolby Atmos speakers and 4 3D noise-cancelling microphones, so it can easily handle your music and Zoom calls.

On the creativity side, it comes with the Yoga Pen Gen 2 and the Force Pad. Not like “Star Wars” force, but a navigation touchpad that can also double as a drawing surface thanks to Wacom technology. And you won’t need to worry about accidentally gesturing out of your sketch, thanks to the Force Pad automatically disabling the touchpad input while you’re using the pen. It’s the little things that show your computer is working hard so you can work harder!

Get your creative juices flowing this August, starting at $2,099.

Yoga Creative Keyboard AngryMiao Edition

Yoga Creative Keyboard AngryMiao Edition

One last Yoga accessory is on deck. Lenovo has teamed up with AngryMiao, a peripheral manufacturer, to create the Yoga Creative Keyboard AngryMiao Edition. It has an aluminum body with a translucent cover so you can really appreciate the per-key RGB.

There are two fully functional USB-C ports, and if you’re using it with the Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition alongside the Yoga Pro 27UD-10 monitor, you can use a special Yoga key to control audio channels and even route music through both the computer and the monitor with a click. It also features a knob at the top right to give users more control to scroll through video and audio editing. Maximize your Yoga experience starting May 2026 for $299.

The Affordable But Mighty IdeaPad Line

Just because you’re not pushing creativity to the upper limits doesn’t mean giving up power and intelligent design. The IdeaPad line is kinder to your wallet, but no less willing and able to tackle your hardest computer tasks.

IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra

IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra

Portable shouldn’t mean giving up power, and the IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra shows that clearly, with Intel Core Ultra Processors and a thin, all-metal design. At the narrowest point it is under 1/2 inch, while it weighs in at 2.5 pounds. Despite this, it still offers 20 hours of video playback from the 65Wh battery, along with Rapid Charge Boost that can give you 2 hours after only 15 minutes of charge time.

There’s also an FHD IR camera with facial recognition and an integrated camera privacy shutter. Slim 5i sports 3 USB-C ports as well as either a 14″ WUXGA OLED or WQXGA IPS LCD, meaning whichever you choose, you’re getting a bright, clear screen perfect for all-day work with plenty of ports for your mouse, flash drive, or other accessories. And of course, it has built-in AI and Copilot+, proving it has both beauty AND brains.

IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra won’t break your back or your wallet, starting at $799 in October 2026.

Maybe you love the idea of a slim IdeaPad but need more screen than 14″. Good news, that’s where the IdeaPad Slim 3i comes in, sporting a whopping 17″ screen. It will sport Intel Core processors, Dolby Audio speakers, and a Rapid Charge Boost battery so you won’t have to go long without your giant laptop screen. Look for it this October, starting at $599.

Idea Tab Pro Gen 2

Idea Tab Pro Gen 2

Sometimes you need a more portable solution, and that’s where the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 will swoop in to be your steadfast companion. It will be the first Lenovo tablet to offer Lenovo Qira, their bespoke AI experience. It will be built into the system and will be able to continuously act across tablets, phones, and computers, so the Tab Pro will truly be an extension of your workflow.

Qira is coming later in 2026, but even without her, there’s a lot to be excited about for this tablet. It will have Smarter Reader, an intelligent note-taking app, plus the Lenovo Tap Pen Plus, which will make it easy to save notes to Lenovo Notepad and leverage AI Notes to organize everything. There’s also live transcription for lectures, so you can make sure you don’t miss anything, and the 2-in-1 keyboard pack includes a Lenovo Smart AI Input button that lets you activate quick text and translation.

This is a tablet that won’t slow you down and won’t let you down when it’s time to relax, thanks to quad JBL speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos. There’s an optional matte display with anti-glare if you anticipate doing a lot of reading, and with a 10,200mAh battery, you can go anywhere without hunting for a plug. It’ll come in Luna Grey, Cloud Grey, and Jelly Mint, and you’ll be styling no matter which you choose. Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 will hit July 2026, starting at $419.

Gaming, Gaming, and more Gaming With Lenovo Legion

Legion Tab

Legion Tab

It’s the age-old issue. You want to game, but you also want to be on the go. And you want something smaller than a full gaming console like the Legion Go. Lenovo hears you, and so enter the Legion Tab. It’s an 8.8″ 3K display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, runs Android, and offers up to 16GB to keep things humming quickly. And it’ll stay cool too, thanks to the Legion ColdFront Vapor cooling system.

There’s also Lenovo AI Engine+ for enhanced audio and noise cancellation, so you can talk smack clearly. And of course, two USB-C ports for any peripherals and charging you might need. Color coordinate your gaming with your choice of Eclipse Black, Glacier White, or Surge, starting at $849 in May 2026.

Legion 7a

Legion 7a

Legion 7a boasts a new trick in the Legion laptop line; it’s the first to offer unified memory architecture. In English, this means that instead of using separate dedicated memory for the CPU and GPU, they share a single pool. It’s designed to make the experience smoother and more responsive, which are basically the two most important jobs a gaming PC has. In a game where 1/2 second matters, you want speed and efficiency, and so you want the new Legion 7a.

It will have AMD Ryzen AI Max+ series processors and integrated Radeon graphics cores, plus a 15.3″ PureSight OLED screen. At only 3.6 pounds, the Nebula colored aluminum chassis will look good on your desk or on the go. Blast away with speed starting at $2,299 in July 2026.

Proof of Concept and Yet to Come Devices

L16 Mobile Monitor

L16 Mobile Monitor

It’s fun to work from anywhere until you realize you’re missing your extra monitor. The L16 Mobile Monitor will provide a portable 16″ FHD screen with an adjustable 90-degree viewing angle. Plus, dual USB-C ports with up to 65W power passthrough mean you can charge your laptop from the monitor and save precious peripheral space. There’s no price yet, but it is expected to be available in the back half of 2026.

Yoga Book Pro 3D concept

Yoga Book Pro 3D concept

Lenovo loves to tease its big ideas. Even when they’re not full products, their proof-of-concept demonstrations often lead to real changes that trickle into the main computer lines. If that holds, the Yoga line is in for some exciting future iterations based on the Yoga Book Pro 3D concept. Digital creators increasingly have to work with the world in 3D, and Lenovo says that demand is likely to triple by 2032. And no one wants to rock 3D glasses just to get their work done.

So the Yoga Book Pro 3D concept features a glasses-free 3D display that lets you see depth, form, and spatial relationships clearly on the screen. It also uses dual PureSight Pro Tandem OLED displays for the increased and detailed workflow that you might need in 3D design. Lenovo envisions its AI software as a boon for converting 2D designs into 3D, and the concept also supports zero-touch gestures, so you can move your hands right in front of the screen to interact with your designs.

Since this is a dual-screen laptop, both halves are touchscreens, and Lenovo includes snap-on pads for quick access to shortcuts. The idea is that the laptop should fade into the background and let the user focus on the act of creating without breaking their flow. It’ll all be powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPUs, easily handling 3D images and more. If even a little of this appears in future computers, it’ll really feel like the future!

Legion Go Fold Concept

Legion Go Fold Concept

The Legion Go line is an impressive marvel of on-the-go gaming, and Lenovo has ideas for where they go from here. Enter the Legion Go Fold Concept, a Legion Go that can unfold from 7.7″ to 11.6″, straddling the line between handheld and tablet.

It can sport traditional controllers when folded into its 7.7″ size, handle split-screen mode (like watching a walkthrough on one screen while gaming on the other), support full horizontal mode where you can play with the attached controllers on a massive 11.6″ screen, or even act as a desktop with the included wireless keyboard (the right controller can be used as a vertical mouse for extra efficiency).

Legion Go Fold Concept

Legion Go Fold Concept

Again, not all of this may appear in the Legion line, but it does give a cool insight into where they want to take it. It’s also a brilliant use of folding screens; imagine being on a flight and gaming in the smaller 7.7″ mode, then landing and spreading out at your hotel with the roomier 11.6″ that can also double as a laptop. It can truly be the Swiss Army Knife of gaming devices!

AI Work Companion

AI Work Companion

Feeling retro? Lenovo was when they came up with this last proof of concept, the AI Work Companion. It looks like an old school desk clock, but it offers a built-in charging hub and programmable buttons with different functions depending on your needs. It’ll also sync tasks and schedules to help balance your day, monitor that you’re taking breaks, and remind you to adjust your screen time so your eyes don’t dry out.

The idea is to help make a healthy work and life balance, so it will also have “playful” interactions and an end-of-week celebration of the tasks you’ve completed. Again, this is just a proof of concept, so right now your regular alarm clock won’t congratulate you for finishing your laundry, but maybe in the future!

Yoga Wireless Webcam

Yoga Wireless Webcam

Finally, Lenovo is testing a Yoga Wireless Webcam concept where an AI-enhanced wireless camera can record in 4K Ultra HD and be edited in real time on a Yoga PC. Livestreaming on YouTube will never be the same!

Lenovo’s latest lineup makes one thing clear: the company isn’t content to simply refresh specs year after year. From AI-enhanced Yoga systems designed to quietly improve how you work, to IdeaPads that prove affordability doesn’t have to mean compromise, and Legion devices pushing portable gaming into increasingly flexible territory, Lenovo is casting a very wide net.

Some of these products are practical upgrades you’ll be able to buy soon, while others hint at a future where laptops understand posture, adapt to creative workflows, and maybe even make 3D design feel as natural as sketching on paper.

Of course, Lenovo also has a habit of turning ambitious concepts into real shipping hardware sooner than expected. That makes this particular wave of announcements worth watching closely, especially as AI features and hybrid form factors continue to evolve throughout 2026.

If any of these devices caught your attention — or if you’re curious which concepts eventually graduate into full products — it’s a good idea to keep an eye on Lenovo’s official site for availability updates, pricing confirmations, and the inevitable surprises that tend to appear between announcement and launch.
