If the Plyo represents restraint, the $84.95 UAG Monarch Pro for iPhone 18 Pro is considerably less shy about its intentions.

The Carbon Fiber version combines a durable TPU frame, an internal hex-pattern structure, reinforced corners, and a carbon-fiber inlay. A raised bezel and extra protection around the camera lenses add coverage in two of the places most likely to contact a surface when a phone lands badly.

UAG rates this version for independently tested drops of up to 25′, meeting five times the MIL-SPEC 810G-516.6 drop-test standard. That’s the highest drop rating in this group. The Monarch Pro also includes a built-in MagSafe-compatible magnetic module, an integrated Camera Control button, tactile gripping surfaces, and lanyard anchor points.

The tradeoff with highly protective cases is usually obvious: extra layers tend to mean a more substantial object in your hand and pocket. For people who work outdoors, travel frequently, routinely use their phones around concrete floors, or simply have an impressive history of dropping expensive electronics, that compromise may be easier to justify.

Glass Shield LT Protects the Part Cases Can’t Cover

A case can defend the edges and back of an iPhone, but the display remains a rather large piece of exposed glass. The $24.95 UAG Glass Screen Protector Shield LT for iPhone 18 Pro is designed to handle that remaining vulnerability.

It uses double-strengthened tempered glass that UAG has tested against steel-ball impacts from heights of up to 6′. The protector is scratch-resistant and includes an oleophobic coating, meaning the surface is designed to resist the oils responsible for the fingerprints and smudges that seem to materialize approximately four seconds after cleaning a phone.

UAG has kept the protector thin enough to preserve display clarity and touchscreen responsiveness, and it’s sized to remain compatible with the company’s cases. An applicator and cleaning kit are included, which should reduce some of the alignment anxiety that comes with installing screen protectors and discovering a dust speck directly in the middle after everything has been pressed into place.
