Back in 2020, a children’s book titled “Everyone Poops” came out—a fitting title for this review of the Horow X70 Smart Toilet with Built-In Tank and Pump. It’s far smarter than an average toilet, and far more expensive. Is it worth it, and can your budget handle it?
Eyeglasses can be such a personal thing. I’ve worn glasses all of my life, and over the years, my sunglasses have always been clip-ons. Yeah, I can go with transitions, but they darken way faster than they lighten. That bugs me. I’ve never considered prescription sunglasses because my insurance wouldn’t give me a discount, and I have progressive lenses, which can be a major financial roadblock. When I was offered the chance to review the new GUNNAR Tomb Raider Croft sunglasses, their retro 1930s field style intrigued me. Prescription? Yes. Progressives? Yes. Better than clip-ons? Let’s find out.
Let me begin this review with a story. My love for audio began with a Marantz receiver, Technics turntable, Nakamichi tape deck, Infiniti speakers—and about 3,000 albums. When CDs arrived, I was hooked and eventually replaced my albums with a collection of 400 CDs—which I still own. Now, I mainly listen to Apple Music via my Mac Studio, Valortiva amp, and B&W 607 speakers on my desktop. I’ve now added the Fosi Audio Merak CD player into my setup. Was it worth it?
Do you own battery-powered yard equipment? If so, you’ll see how this relates to a foldable chair review. It’s a strange comparison, but hear me out. When you buy a battery mower and add tools like a trimmer or chainsaw, you must buy the same brand of compatible—read: proprietary—batteries. That’s why the BOTE MULE Outpost chair is perfect—if you’re willing to go BOTE.
Summer heat is no joke, and lately it seems worse than ever, especially with Florida’s humidity making time outdoors downright miserable. My preferred strategy is really simple: stay inside from June through September. When I do venture out, I move from my air-conditioned house to my air-conditioned car and then to another air-conditioned destination. Unfortunately, some situations still require being outside. Wouldn’t it be nice to bring air conditioning with you? With the TORRAS COOLiFY Cyber Fold AI Neck Air Conditioner, you almost can. Better yet, it isn’t only for summer—it can also help keep you warm when temperatures drop.
As our lives become more and more dependent on smart devices, we also become even more dependent on charging those devices. And charging methods are usually based on habit or proximity to a power source—especially in an emergency. A good way to add many extra hours or even 1.5-2 days to your iPhone is using a 10,000mAh battery such as the INIU SnapGo Air 10000mAh 25-watt wireless charger.
Do you enjoy getting older? Neither do I—who does? As we get older, health issues can become more prominent, leading to taking more medicine. I do not enjoy looking at the bottles of pills I have to take daily because of an inherited lung condition. Not only do I abhor taking so many drugs, but it can also get confusing because this pill is once a day and this pill is two times and … you get the idea. What can help is a pill manager, such as the MOBI Smart WiFi Automatic Pill Dispenser.
Everybody sleeps. Duh. And yet, everybody is unique in how well—or how badly—they sleep. I tend to sleep rather well (and heavily), but occasionally I have bouts of sleeplessness. When that happens, I resort to background noise on my clock radio, a floor fan blowing in my face, or even music via my trusty Apple AirPods Pro earbuds. The point is that everyone has tried-and-true tricks that work for them, with varying degrees of success. Enter the Fitnexa SomniPods 3 earbuds. These light, tiny wonders can help those with sleep issues, but they are not perfect.
