The Ride1Up REVV1 I purchased last March is my daily commuter when the weather allows. It is a fantastic moped-style e-bike. The Ride1Up Portola, the company’s first foldable, is a superb bike, especially considering its sub-$1000 price tag; it’s now Raina’s bike. And now we have the Ride1Up Cafe Cruiser, which offers style and comfort in step-over and step-through designs.
We’ve been impressed by Ride1Up’s e-bike offerings this year. The Revv1 is my absolute favorite moped/moto-style e-bike, and their Portola, Ride1Up’s first folding e-bike, knocked it out of the park. I’m currently reviewing their Cafe Cruiser, and I’ve been impressed. Their latest offering, the Ride1Up CF Racer1, is a design departure, and it looks stunning.
Ride1Up, the San Diego-based electric bike company that produces the REVV1 (AKA, my daily driver), recently released their first folding bike, the Ride1Up Portola. It is impressive on its own, and when you take into account the fact that it is under $1000 yet doesn’t feel like a “budget” electric bike, it is a truly compelling offering.
